What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

We already meet the spec and mandate for our pitch, as artificial pitches go there is nothing wrong with it.

I have no problem with folk just saying they don't like them and prefer grass, the shite they talk as to why we shouldn't have them though, that's a different story. If there was a good factual presentation put out by top flight teams as to why there shouldn't be artificial pitches in the SPFL Premiership then fine, lets see it. Instead of saying, lets have a vote cause we don't like them, they're *insert all cliched nonsense here*..

Which vacuum in turn only fuels speculation of ulterior motives.

Every artificial pitch in the pyramid has to be tested against FIFA criteria every year. They're more closely regulated than grass.

Surely, as with everything else, the safest approach is just to disregard anything that Brendan Rodgers has to say?

There’s some advantages to having plastic pitches which don’t exist for grass ones - the opportunity for them to be used by the wider community, for example.  The idea that these sorts of benefits should be scrapped because the fucking Scottish Premiership is some mythical standard of football that’s above their use is laughable.

Viaplay finding an all time Dons legend for the pointless holding up a bit of cardboard routine.

They probably had the two of them booked for this before the competition had even started, expecting the Ugly Sisters to be playing each other in final. 🤦🏻‍♂️
TBH Scott Brown could be used for Hibs as well, so they did cover a few eventualities!  🤷🏻‍♂️

Is there a scenario where plastic pitches are banned in the top division but a club who has one gets promoted, has a 3 year grace period to change it but decides not to and takes a forced relegation on the chin as it’s more cost effective!

If that scenario arises, it will almost definitely be serial drop-dodgers Aberdeen who escape; with their knickers roond their ankles! 😄

Celtic B playing at Rangers B's stadium is rather strange.

I went to a Celtic Women's game at Airdrie. It's amusing walking to the stadium hearing the Oirish songs being played over the tannoy. I swear Celtic crank up the volume to cause maximum seethe among the locals too!

If two dubious claims that we ‘dodged’ the drop makes it serial, what does 5 relegations constitute?

Scots women's football boss guilty of elaborate £1500-a-month rent fraud scam - Daily Record

Edinburgh crime: Woman football boss Zola McGoldrick jailed over £30,000 scam to live rent-free in city flat (scotsman.com)

A director of the Scottish Women's Premier League carried out an elaborate fraud scam in a bid to live rent free in a plush Edinburgh city centre flat. Zola McGoldrick, 50, rented out a three-bedroom flat for over 18 months but failed to hand over a penny in rent after claiming she had been caught up in an international money laundering scheme.

The SWPL director McGoldrick, also known as Zola Affley,  even forged letters from RBS, Lloyds and HMRC in her devious effort to convince the flat owner her funds were unavailable to her. The shamed stalwart of the Scottish women's game denied the allegations but was found guilty of fraud following a two-day trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

The court heard McGoldrick was declared bankrupt in March 2020 and she and her family were eventually kicked out of Mr Glen's property owing rent of more than £28,000 in May 2020. McGoldrick was appointed as a director of the inaugural SWPL representing Edinburgh outfit Boroughmuir Thistle FC at a historic meeting at Hampden Park in May last year. She became a member of the league board alongside delegates from Rangers, Celtic, Hearts and Glasgow City. The mother-of-two was then presented with the prestigious SFA Regional Volunteer of the Year for Adult Football award just three months later.

But she was subsequently forced to resign from her position as a director with the SWPL following the guilty verdict in October.

The sheriff said: “You were found guilty after trial of fraud and the charge stated a lengthy course of fraudulent conduct whereby you gave excuses not to pay your rent supported by documents forged by you. Your behaviour was deliberate and when your story started to unravel you failed to admit your guilt and your behaviour had elements of confidence trickery in it. “I cannot have confidence in the content of the report and I am unable to follow its recommendation. The reality is that the only appropriate sentence for a fraud of this nature is a custodial sentence.

McGoldrick was given a six month prison sentence.

Following the guilty verdict, a spokesperson for the SWPL said: “This has come as a complete shock to everyone at the league. We were completely unaware of this situation until today. Zola has tendered her resignation from her non-executive position at the SWPL and it has been accepted by the board with immediate effect.

Needs put in the Women's Forum for reference.
