What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

I can see how from a Rangers perspective giving them some game time would be ideal, especially for Hagi after all of the issues.

I can also see how the B team nonsense would get up folks noses.

You're spectacularly missing the point about the reasons your club gave for wanting a B team, bringing through youth players which would apparently torpedo them to national team level.

Then playing expensive foreigners for "match fitness".

Get to absolute f**king f**k the lot of you and your big house.

Did the ‘big house’ stay open ? I never heard the follow up to that interview.

If the 'B' teams are to continue in any form of fair competition there have to be some very specific rules laid down. First teamers on £xx,ooo per week should be automatically barred. Only players who have come through the academies or arrived into their system by a certain age allowed.

The whole premise of these sides is supposedly to give experience to the youth of the bigger clubs  not to rehabilitate first team squad players or gain any form of competitive advantage. It's up to the individual club to arrange bounce games etc to get their fringe players up to speed, not devalue any competition at that level to do so.

Actually, get 'B' teams to fvck, and your first teams while you're at it. It'd be a much happier place without the lot of them and their nonsense baggage.

I don't believe for one second you think that's the purpose of the inclusion in the Challenge Cup, and with the background context of having tried and hilariously failed to bully your Colt teams into the league structure with typical Arse Cheek bluster, paranoia, intimidation and lies, you'll simply have to forgive the rest of us for not using your prism to view this.

I hope Danilo, Hagi and any other highly paid first teamers used in the name of shitting all over what used to be a decent cup get absolutely f**king cemented in the next and any future rounds.

The problem here isn't Rangers btw, it's nonsense that is the challenge cup. Just as an example Motherwell used Paul McGinn, our club captain who has over 400 career appearances and a Scotland Cap, whilst Dundee Utd used Tony Watt, a Scotland cap who was *allegedly* on something mad like 4k a week at the time. There are most likely several more examples of this happening, I can't blame clubs taking advantage and using it to get players fully fit, on the other hand the use of B Teams in this competition is an absolute riddy from the SPFL.

"The most successful team in football" still being blasted out the Ibrox PA.

Having stood on terracing at Firhill loudly proclaiming Partick Thistle to be by far the greatest team the world had ever seen I’m inclined to forgive Rangers their hyperbole

Which clubs do you think lobbied most for B teams to be included?

Hagi and Danilo seem to have helped ignore the fact that only 7/16 players used were Scottish, with one of them being Leon King who's played Champions League football previously.

Any club beyond Celtic or Rangers have Leon King, and probably Bailey Rice, playing top flight football regularly. Rangers have them playing Stenhousemuir and Lowland League football. But at least "colt" teams are helping develop players eh?

It'll be so, so, annoying when they start demanding entry up the leagues to help combat that instead of just giving the young players a chance.

If only someone, anyone, out there could have predicted that this was an exercise in increasing squad capacity, managing that excess squad, enhancing their ability to attract young talent (of any nationality) and avoiding having to pay Diddy clubs significant sums for talent they actually nurture through their system.
