Richie95
Apparently McLeish is also trying to convince Sam Gallagher (the on-loan Birmingham City Striker) to accept a Scotland call-up.
RandomGuy.
Jon McLaughlin and Oli McBurnie expected to be named. McTominay too if he decides to plump for Scotland
Gordopolis
David Bates being touted from a call too. I reckon Souttar and Lindsay will be in there ahead of him tho. Maybe McKenna too.Quite keen to see how this new batch of names comes together.
Paco
Apparently McLeish is also trying to convince Sam Gallagher (the on-loan Birmingham City Striker) to accept a Scotland call-up. Turned us down in the past, not that that’s necessarily an issue. Not convinced he’s good enough though. McBurnie, Lindsay and McTominay (if he fancies it) are the uncapped players that surely have to be in the squad.

If you have to convince a player to play for Scotland they shouldn't be picked anyway. You should also have two seasons of consistently strong play before you should you are considered for international football. I mean there will be exceptional cases but the Bates, McCrorie, McKenna etc suggestions are premature in my opinion. Liam Lyndsey should be getting a call up though. Ethics aside, he’d be a great addition. It’s strange how there’s Gallagher, McBurnie and Hornby all tall strikers with Scottish DNA, and yet the Scottish born alternatives are invariably midgets. Frankie S
The selection of McTominay (6’4”), Bates (6’3”), Lindsay (6’3”), McLaughlin (6’3”), Gallagher (6’3”) and McBurnie (6’2”) would surely put to bed any issues about us being ‘genetically challenged”

Then Harry souttar who is eighteen feet tall. Strachan must be bursting his nut. Also Paterson big strong quick energetic and tremendous in the air and Tierney going to be a monster physically. And the mcrorie brothers and possibly Hardie eventually.
Peppino Impastato
Also cadden very imposing physically and aggressive. I think in the last ten years we have caught up technically now we are starting to catch up physically too. And hendry at Celtic. And archer. If our game wasn't run by fkn idiots top to bottom we could be heading into a really good spell for the national side.
Peppino Impastato
Hanley as well he's a total brute and 6-3. We will also have a scattering of pace with Fraser, Forrest, Robertson etc. Physically we won't have too many problems for the next ten years. skippy2015
So we look to English born players playing for relegation threatened teams in the championship now Griffiths Mcburnie and Cummings will be in the squad but struggling to get a fourth based on current form. Rhodes Fletcher Martin Naismith either playing poorly or not playing. Gallagher playing every week and playing well by most accounts only 22 years old 6ft 4 we would be stupid not to investigate this. Plus the fact he’s on loan from Southampton not within the realms of possibility that he could still make it there.
