Inanimate Carbon Rod
The one you are presumably trying to discredit is actually the one that is most accurate and reporting the truth. There were plenty people there cheering and clapping too as the Prime Minister arrived. They must have been doing so from the unicorn paddock at the end of the rainbow. ‘I was saying Boo-oris’.

FYI I'm more likely to believe the Morelos bid

I'm pointing out the BBC's bias in portraying the same stoty in a different manner to different audiences. I'm making no judgement as to which version is actually true. You don't seem to understand that if the Reporting Scotland version is true, then the other two BBC versions of the story must at least be misleading, if not actually false. I have believed very little of what the BBC has told me for a number of years. You appear to be gradually coming to the same conclusion. No matter which version is correct, the BBC is demonstrably biased. The prosecution rests.

Colkitto
The Ashcroft poll was released at 07:00 am this morning. BBC Scotland finally put the story on their website at 20:30 this evening....

BBC Scotland finally put the story on their website at 20:30 this evening.... After being slated about it all day on their Twitter feeds. Their reporting of the hospital issue is disgusting too, stating it may not open, might need to be knocked down etc. Five separate stories on it, lead item on Scottish news and the website all day, all based on a quote from a single union official (obviously also a Labour activist) who isn't an engineer and has no qualifications in the field. Actual engineers been saying all day its nonsense, can be sorted whilst building is open with sumps and pumps, is the fault of the contractor and will be fixed at their cost. Meanwhile rent-a-quote unionists are calling for Freeman to resign, trumpeted by the BBC.
Dan Steele
The reason BBC didn't lead with the Ashcroft poll is because their editorial guidelines advise against reporting based on individual polls. Interesting that they have done so on at least 27 occassions with some of the polls having smaller sample sizes than Ashcroft's. BBC - Reporting Scotland they way they want. Disgraceful.
sophia
I know it's not new but why does BBC Radio Scotland feel the need to describe some Labour politicians as "moderate"? Are others not moderate? What parts of Jackie Baillie's support of trident and anti democratic stance on self determination are moderate? Is was acceptable in the70s to describe Denis Healy as a right winger and Peter Shore as a left winger. What has changed?
ICTJohnboy
Interesting story here - even if it's hardly news - on dear old Randy Andy. https://www.channel4.com/news/exclusive-met-police-decided-not-to-conduct-full-investigation-into-court-claims-of-sex-trafficking-of-girl-in-prince-andrew-photo Strangely no mention of this from the nation's principal broadcaster on their flagship 10pm news slot.
Kuro
https://www.thenational.scot/news/17834812.tory-minister-caught-lying-scottish-budget-cuts/ Not reported on the BBC at all. Nothing, nada, not a single mention on any of their platforms or outlets. You'd think this was newsworthy no? I think its only the national that covered it.
Granny Danger
BBC quoting all of Boris Bunter’s nonsensical statements as if they were gospel. In fact they are, as the gospel is s bunch of made up shite.

Boris so far hasn't realised yet that any public outings for PM's should always be conducted among his supporters. A main example of that was Ruth Davidson hiring a tiny village hall in rural Deeside and filling it with cuntservatives for a visit by Theresa May during the last GE, obviously TV news coverage that night showed the PM surrounded by cheering ecstatic supporters. Daft Donnie pulls the same stunts, it's called politics. Edited August 26, 2019 by SandyCromarty

ICTJohnboy
Disappointed, but not wholly surprised to note that BBC Scotland news this morning's led with the story that Corbyn is to meet opposition leaders today, but failed to mention Ian Blackford will be part of these talks. Wouldn't it have been of interest to their Scottish viewers that Scotland's concerns, in the case of leaving the EU without a deal, will be heard and expressed?
