Only issue is finding it hard to take Malcolm in the middles dad seriously cooking meth. Hah, remember the first time I watched BB, took me about half the episode to realise why the bald meth cook was so familiar
Gianfranco
The first season of BB isn’t that great but it’s worth it if you stick with it. I heard it was almost not renewed for a second season.

paul-r-cfc
Auntie Donna's Big Ol House of Fun is class Surreal Australian comedy, kinda sketch show. It's definitely the kind of thing you'll either love or hate depending on your sense of humour but I loved it.

It's definitely the kind of thing you'll either love or hate depending on your sense of humour but I loved it.I’ve actually watched it through twice now. Once on my own whilst figuring out if I liked it or not (which after a couple of episodes I really did) and then once forcing my wife to watch it. Her take was - it’s too weird for me but because they are Australian they are a lot less annoying than if they were American. Think they had two or three very strong episodes and one or two that were a bit patchier. A few of the individual sketches were brilliant. Suppose that’s the nature of a sketch show.Since then I’ve gone back to look at some of their older TV skits and live stuff. Some of them are excellent.I would say I’m very much a fan but totally understand why some people would think it’s the most awful thing they’ve ever seen.Think one reason I liked it was purely for the escapism element given how utterly shit things have been.

One of those things that if you watch it before bed you're likely to wake up and think it might have been a dream. Was pissing myself at Blair Buoyant the clairvoyant. It's a gag that's been done so many times but they just took it to another level. Can definitely see myself going back to it

pub car king
Finished night stalker. It didn't tell me anything new about the case, however it was very well made I liked the reenactment parts and the 2 detectives giving their side to it gave it some heft. I would like to see more from makers of it. That fucking mayor in San Francisco almost scuppered the whole thing though.

I can easily watch about a film’s worth in an evening. I still can’t tell if the yakuza assistant guy is a completely nuts character or if the actor is just dreadful.

There were 2 films made in between the first 3 serirs' and the last 2 which were Tokyo Stories. Ryus one of the best characters.
19QOS19
Just getting into this. Good call whoever it was that suggested it. The production took a bit of getting used to to begin with. It's filmed more like a reality show. I love the wee bits at the end where they show you how to cook the food.
JustOneCornetto
RitaJust finished this Danish series about a forty something teacher who does things her own way and has a pretty chaotic life. Good mixture of comedy and serious stuff with some strong supporting characters. Really enjoyed it.
well fan for life
Watched the first 2 episodes of Bodyguard last night. The one with Richard Madden & Keeley Hawes. The first 15 minutes was unbelievably tense. Very impressed so far.

Somehow I managed to completely miss the whole thing at the time. I remember Richard Madden touring round every bit of press going to talk about it but I never seen a second of the actual show. Finished it last night in one sitting. Worth a watch. Might do Line of Duty next because, again, I managed to completely miss that.
