HT 1-1

Quite a good game actually. First time we’ve looked interested for a few weeks.

Started well and scored a good goal, lovely pass and dinked in by Mullen.

Then faded away. Morton hit the bar and forced a couple of good saves by Samson before equalising.

Disappointing support up from Greenock. Don’t they have something to play for?

Fucking up ye ya p***k. You canny beat the Morton

Lol when was the last time Morton won a competitive game in Paisley?[emoji23][emoji23]

A couldn’t care less if Morton won today 10-1 were the champions something you will only ever dream of. You are already over achieving finishing mid table in the championship [emoji23]

Morton playing this like it’s a cup tie.

Madden refereeing it like it’s a friendly.

Morton’s 25 lucky to still be on the pitch.

But he’s not even had a yellow and he and Madden walked off at HT having a wee laugh together.

1-1 about right though.

With Saints having a really nervy 15 minutes when McKenzie went off injured.

Need to raise it in the second half or it’ll be two home losses in a row.

FT 2-1

Good game good game. Thought we were the better team and it was just that the leagues best player scored the winning goal on trophy day. Lewis Morgan, hammer of the Ton. Fantastic standing ovation for him after being subbed off in his last game too. Some boy.

Fair play to the 400 or so Greenock that made the trip up. Can’t have been easy to watch.

Reminded me a bit of that time in 2000 when we beat Morton 2-0 at Cappielow on the way to winning this division.

Was over 15 years before we played them in an another league game. Could easily be that again.

As football clubs, we just operate on different levels. Will always be little freak periods where Morton are overachieving and we are underachieving where our paths will cross (like the last few years). But natural order has always been restored.

We have spent the vast majority of our history above Morton and we will spend the vast majority of our future above them too.
