clyde_darren Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Player of the year nominations; Sean Dillon Willie Gibson Rory McAllister Darren Smith
JakeSAFC Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Probably the correct choices. Would love Daz to win it but I reckon Sean Dillion probably deserves it.
cfcuk Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Probably the correct choices. Would love Daz to win it but I reckon Sean Dillion probably deserves it. Top scorer in the league not nominated [emoji23]By the way he is streets ahead of the likes of Smith
Replays Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Paton and Goodwillie missing out on that is poor.
dougster Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Do Loan players miss out? I was thinking Paton and McCrorie
The Minertaur Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Dillon should win it. Has been superb for Montrose this season and is a key reason behind their success. I can't stand Gibson so no doubt he'll win the bloody thing.
JakeSAFC Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Top scorer in the league not nominated [emoji23]By the way he is streets ahead of the likes of Smith I think it's pretty obvious why he wasn't nominated.
cfcuk Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I think it's pretty obvious why he wasn't nominated. What you saying? It's not based on ability or how you have played during the year ? Makes it pretty worthless then
JakeSAFC Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 What you saying? It's not based on ability or how you have played during the year ? Makes it pretty worthless then I'm not saying I agree with it but he's clearly not been nominated because of the rapist tag over his head.
Guest Landan Spiv Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Pat Scullion should be in the short list. Let the haters hate
Mantis Toboggan Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 11 minutes ago, Landan Spiv said: Pat Scullion should be in the short list. Let the haters hate Would obviously be too unfair for him to win both this and the Balon D'or
Blootoon87 Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Sean Dillon I would say. Willie Gibson being on the shortlist is bizarre. He's had an alright season, nothing special.
Sao Paulo Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 If we'd have taken Lee Currie back in from the Juniors like I'd asked, we'd have a player on that list. More than that, the League 2 all-stars would be whooping anything the Championship could throw together. Daft that Goodwillie's not on the list. Social justice Scoatlund but 'init.
berwick-the-unbeatable Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 It's amazing that Harry Paton isn't on this to be honest, especially given he's Stenhousemuir's best ever loan player - a feat made even more impressive by the fact the likes of Paul McMullan and Grant Anderson were on Messi's level during their time there.
Francesc Fabregas Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 From the four players shortlisted, I'd probably go for Sean Dillon - he's strolled through it on the two occasions I've seen him live and he's really brought the best out of everyone around him, turning Montrose into a really hardy prospect this year. When did the players make their nominations? Was it February?
clyde_r_us Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Don't know who made this list of nominations but obviously deal as DGW is not there
Neilly Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Dillon and 3 sand dancers. Only one winner there for me.
David W Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 That's a total joke to be honest, even worse than him not getting a player of the month. Goodwillie has absolutely destroyed Dillon this season, and is the top scorer in the league. I've no idea why Paton isn't there. Would have had those two, Smith and Ballantyne.
Clyde01 Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Load of PC shite, DGW is the best player in the league by a clear distance.
