Taking a trip through to Ayr for this tomorrow. Will the P&B masses be joining me in the bookie bashing?

Anyone have any tips or horses to look out for?

Fire everything about it in this thread.

Have been down to Ayr for the National a few times but doubt I'll be back, last year was pandemonium. It was packed to the rafters, getting a bevvy was an absolute nightmare and it was impossible to get any bets on your phone due to the poor signal.

Will wait until the morning before backing anything but tough to oppose Vicente who is going for a third consecutive National and has been raced this year with it in mind. Ballyoptic didn't race too badly at Cheltenham and it's telling that Twiston-Davis has chosen to ride Vicente instead.

Had a good day today. 10/1 (Value at Risk) and 5/2 (Azzuri) winners more than covered my outlay.

Our Lucas (1 length) and Bob Mahler (badly hampered 3 out, neck) would have made it a great day.

Sunburnt.

Went last year £100 on Vicente nearly fainted as it hit the line I wasn’t shy on posting it here last year  .

Same again £100 on Vicente but unfortunately working today so won’t even get to see it.

My bets today though

Vaniteux, Braqueur D’or, Chesterfield, Peregrine Run and Vicente

Ashoka, Ch’tibello, Fagan, Regal Flow and Pearl Swan for me.

Regal Flow should never be a 25/1 shot saw that earlier. Just can’t back against Vicente after last year.

Best of luck today though buddy

You too mate. So many in with a chance maybe that big race experience here will see Vincente home first again.

Almost that time again, weather is actually looking surprisingly good.. Anyone heading through for it?

Eyeing up a Nube Negra and Beware the Bear double at the moment. Possibly a punt on Brain Power at 14/1.

Anyone else got horses picked out yet?

Can’t pin one down for the National today. Any thoughts?

Two each way bets on Cloth Cap and Crosshue Boy most likely. Might put something on Dingo Dollar closer to the time.

Pretty much in the same boat in regards to not being able to pick one that it nailed on for the win.

Crosshue Boy on the list too. Seems geared for this. Geronimo might go well despite being out the weights.

Beware the Bear's a non runner. Thinking of EW on Arthur's Gift.
