Taking a player away hours before a competitive cup tie is a shocker. Imagine it had been Killie we were playing today? We should be honoured that boys are leaving Somerset to play for their country.
HMIP
Aye, I’ll bet that was Mark Kerr’s first thought too!

Surely it makes sense not to have club games scheduled during an international window? I know it's a squad game, but teams losing first team players through call ups places them at a disadvantage before a ball is even kicked.

Or maybe there should be agreement not to take players from clubs involved in competitive matches. The under 21s are a complete waste of time anyway.
ryanayr1987
Zanatta looks fucked needs to really build his fitness! No Houston again would have thought he’d have made a difference in this game! Mccowan again has had a decent game looks to be as good as he was at the start of last season. Really need cover upfront Mckenzie need first team experience at a lower level
rb123!
Unlucky, deserved a draw from that IMO, missed Anderson greatly, if he'd been playing i reckon we would have won that easily.
Roxanne's man
It's Roscoe I'm Worried about That's two games now, I don't think he's capable of first team action at this level! Pure Bombscare.

ayrunitedfw
That’s a pity. Beat Annan and Stranraer and we should still progress however
Hursty
Does anyone know if its head to head or goal difference to win group?
diegomarahenry
Chalmers and McCowan were standouts today, wasn't anyone that looked hopeless. Not having an established front player alongside Moffat probably cost us at least a draw.

Taken from SPFL website: If clubs are level on points at the end of the group stage, the criteria for separating them is 1) goal difference, 2) goals scored, 3) away goals scored, 4) matches won, 5) away matches won, 6) drawing of lots.

North British
Not so bad considering Accies have been pocketing £1million plus , in prize money for the last four or five years . Reading , Anderson and Walsh to come in so not a million miles away . Could do with more bodies in though , the youngsters ain’t going to turn games like today’s .
