I am thrilled to see the team play with a bit of heart. I thought we were doomed when it went to 3-3, but fair fecks to the boys, to come back and win was extremely pleasing. Almost exorcises the play off games. Almost.......

At least we got three points from last night. They got a bottlejob from the playoffs.

So so enjoyable to turn up at a game, look at the team sheet with fear, only to witness a manager trying new things, new positions, new tactics, changing things throughout the game on more than one occasion, coaching players from the sideline, talking about drills through the week and pushing players to new levels AND getting performances and results.

Brown giving the steward a roasting for giving the ball back too quickly in the second half btw, tremendous!

Loved seeing a member of staff getting sent around the sides of the park by Brown / Whittaker just after our winner, to tell the the ball boys to chuck the balls they were holding behind the wall.

We have gone from being a heartless shambles to a heartless shambles with Akinyemi to a heartless shambles.
Brown in a few short weeks has turned us in to a lot less of a shambles with some heart.

Fair summary, it was looking 50/50 between staying up by the skin of our teeth and a meek relegation playoff showing a few weeks ago. Yes, we still have deficiencies. However, it feels like we will absolutely be alright now and away from any nonsense come April.

There seems to have been a policy under Bullen of not shithousing or getting at the referee that has changed in recent weeks.

Aye, like it or not, that kind of stuff is part of the game and we had been soft as shit for a long time with all of it. It's good to see, combined with the added aggression and fight we saw at points.

Just out of interest, is that 2+ hour stream of last night's game that's on YouTube the actual stream that people were charged £15 for?

It's a shambles.

Apologies for being negative, mon the Super etc but ffs the quality of that stream is laughable.

Those students who do the pressers at the uni could probably do a better stream.

It really is poor and has been an issue for seasons now which Mathie said was going to be addressed, yet hasn't.  Obviously the vantage point can't be rectified until the new stand is built, if they chose to go over there, but the sound and picture quality is just horrendous.

Watching the highlights (or that stream back), I thought it looked okay but the sound quality for the commentary was disgraceful.

How can the club be taking any pride in that sort of highlights package?

The best highlights package in the lower leagues atm is Stranraer’s IMO.

They’ve got it spot on with the quality of the stream/highlights and the commentary team are excellent.

The British Pathe lads filming the 1925 FA Cup Final would be turning in their graves at that. There's better footage from the front lines at the Somme.

Not even just the audio and picture quality either. After McHugh's goal, they decided to show a replay of Sanders' own goal and a close range header from Adeloye instead. I appreciate they are volunteers and Lauren is a very good summariser but if we are charging actual money for that, it needs to be a priority.

Latest Championship form table has us joint top with Morton on 12 points in the 6 games since Bullen left. Arbroath clearly struggling but ICT and Dunfermline only picked up 6 so the upcoming games against that pair crucial.

Based on the opponents expected points per game, we've had the toughest run in the division.

Interestingly we are joint top scorers with Partick, but only Partick and Arbroath have conceded more goals so clear where the problem is.

I think the volunteer issue is the problem and Callum wields too much power.

Who wants to tell a volunteer it's not good enough and they need to do better.

Our last 3 home games have been against the top 3, 2 narrow 2-1 defeats against top 2 and a 4-3 win v 3rd.  We're now coming into a run of games against the teams around us, a good run of form will see us safe and even looking up the league.  Dunfermline will be a tough ask as well as ICT as both away.  Thankfully Dowds is back for the weekend and hopefully Stanger and Reading are there or there abouts.
