What's this thing Ryan Stevenson has said regarding Goodwillie that has all kicked off tonight??

Goodwillie has posted something that at least two footballers have shared, Stevenson and Barry Bannan.

He was due to sign for a team in Australia but they terminated the deal after a backlash. He's planning to release a statement online because he doesn't trust the press, who often highlight that he was charged with rape.

Barry Bannan described him as a "Top man"

It really is baffling to even try and consider the mindset that makes someone call a guy like Goodwillie, having seen the evidence that was presented in the civil case that clearly showed him to be a disgusting rapist (not to mention all his previous criminal violence), a 'top man'. Do they really think because he wasn't raping anyone in the changing rooms when they played with him that it changes who he is or what he did? Can't get my head around it.

The sharing of such a post by such an individual is tone-deaf in the extreme.

I have worked supporting people who have been victims of rape. It ruins peoples lives even decades later.

The fact Goodwillie was allowed to continue his football career in the first place was an absolute joke. He has shown zero remorse or contrition for what he did. He should be in prison and not posting about "his truth" on social media.

This has been done to death but I think the most worrying aspect of all this is that in today's society the accused are being treated as Guilty irrespective of evidence or a fair trial due to social media and current societal focus.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Goodwillie here but I do believe that the shouting of "Witch" needs to be dealt with and dealt with quick before it all becomes too late.

Any trialists in this? Think the only player I don't recognise is the one in front of Bangala.

Think that's Armatey, however the guy next to McAllister and Stanger I am not so sure on.

Yes, well, that's actually my point.

We had the Tesco Chairman a few weeks ago and the prospective London Mayor last week and Harry Enfield this week, basically they all denied what they have been accused off and there's also no evidence against them, however they've all had their names blackened and careers ended as a result of historic allegations which may or may not be baseless.

The point I'm making is that we shouldn't just jump to the conclusion that everyone is guilty the minute an allegation is made against them and unfortunately that seems to be EXACTLY what's happening at the moment.

You are 100% correct , most of the time taken is separating all the different materials as it is taken down rather than knocking it all down then trying to separate , metal , wood, plastics and rubble ready for collection

Even in the pre-recycling days demolition was more complex than straightforward bulldozing. I believe that disconnecting the underground pipes and services makes the job more intricate.

Comparing the face Armatey is next to Stanger and McAllister, also the other guy has a trialist look about them.

Assuming the players in the back corner are standing on something as none are the same height as McGinty in person.
