By way of comparison, Partick are scudding County 2-0, while we labour to lay a glove on Kelty

T9 be fair, this performance may act as some kind of closure for all the Bullen cultists (looking at you VoR).  Whoever comes in, I just can’t see that team avoiding relegation.  We need to add some quality and quick.

My Patrick supporting friend is so damaged by the playoff games against Ross County that he’s left his phone at home and gone Munro bagging.

I honestly wasn't looking past my coupon, but aye it hopefully wakes people up to how much bother we're in.

We’ve also seen before that playing those three in the middle of the park together just doesn’t work, so I’m not sure why we are trying it again.

Saying that - the only other option is Bryden or McKenzie up front. I think I would be going with that though.

Smith can’t play as an attacking midfielder.  As poor as they are, Rose or McKenzie should be starting.  If nothing else, McKenzie in particular might make some space for Dowds.  Rose might conceivably give us a bit of movement in behind.  First goal’s the winner.

McCall clearly just issued a come and get me plea.

Not really what he said, it was praise for the things happening off the park, including calling the hub Cameron’s after Lachlan (although I thinks it after his father) followed by being critical of not having some young players on longer contracts as Lachlan would have done.

The last point was the opposite?

He said Smith would have had the likes of Forrest on longer contracts.

Yep, he was definitely talking up the current regime.

Read between the lines people.
