James Wilson the striker perhaps? 20 year old

He's only 17 but highly rated. If it was a ST then Callum Sandilands looks to be the only other option. Whoever we sign will be 3rd choice so can afford to take a risk even if it's a CM.

Some roaster on the Raith Rovers management thread claiming Scott Brown has spoken them twice. Lot of nonsense I suspect.

Was at St Mirren game last Thursday night so assume he's perhaps going there

Think he's a signing for Kilmarnock or St Mirren if they make group stage.

Can’t play of plastic apparently so that rules out Killie.

Is he just not going to train in the winter?

He’ll be injured by then..

On Open Goal he was offered the chance to train at East Kilbride, and declined because of training on plastic. I mean it also could just be a convenient excuse!

Would rule out this season in the championship - half the pitches are plastic

Am I right in thinking the Trust/Challenge Cup draw is on Monday? Think we have a decent shot at a deep run this year if we take it seriously.

Gives us Stranraer away, been a few seasons since they have received the Black and white £.

Brown to Raith is completely absurd and yet you can't 100% rule it out because weirder shit has happened in the Championship.

The backlash that would generate would be something else mind..

There is no rational basis to think there is even a 1% chance of that happening.

Brown won't even go to Hibs. They'll inevitably need another manager in a year anyway so he might as well wait. Abandoning Brownball to go to Kirkcaldy and try to win games with a squad of geriatric crocks makes no sense, again because he absolutely doesn't need the money.
