With that line up and dropping Oakley then it looks like we’re going for pace and counter attacking rather than trying to control the game. It would be a bit of a weird set up with those players in a three at the back, but possible I guess…
D'Jaffo
1 minute ago, Nelson said: Not sure, that would suggest Henderson or someone else (?) is playing more centrally. Henderson often drifts into central positions so it wouldn’t be anything new for him. I think it’s a back 3/5 with Rus and Dempsey in the middle with a front three of Walker, Bavidge and Henderson. Henderson can help out in midfield if needed and allow Watret to push on outside of him. You’ve then got Stanger or McAllister to fill out any gaps on the right hand side of defence.
Shibuya
I can't make any sense of that line-up, none at all. I certainly can't see us playing three at the back when Falkirk's main threat is injured!
Nelson
Could be a 3-4-3 I suppose, but if the wingback get pushed into a back 5, then we’ll end up horribly light in the midfield. I haven’t seen anything from Henderson that makes me think he could play in a more central midfield role. In Broony we trust I suppose - certainly keeps us guessing.
muZZa__44
I think it’s still a 4-2-3-1 and Musonda Is in the DM that or a 4-1-4-1 with Musonda in the one
Shibuya
You don't want to leave 3 at the back against a team who always press with two wingers and a striker, and a bloody high press at that. WTF. Alfie Bavidge is like a lost little boy when he plays and now he's the lone striker?! To be fair I had my suspicions earlier in the week when Brown said Bavidge was learning that role. I’ve got a bad feeling about this…
muZZa__44
I think we are gonna sit deep and hit on the counter Musonda I know is not quick but I trust him with the ball at his feet more then Syla and allows Dempsey more freedom to push foward if need be
Nelson
I think we’ve anticipated every possibility bar Paddy Reading playing centre mid…!
Peil
If we can't work out what's he doing, McGlynn will be utterly bamboozled
Oceanlineayr
Not surprised Oakley is on the bench. Last week without Dowds alongside he looked isolated against Morton and wasn't especially effective. Bavidge and Walker as forward players is a cause for concern, I'm not sure Bavidge was ready to get a full start in a game and Walker hasn't had much game time either.

Makes sense, and I can understand why he would do it against someone like McGlynn. Will either be a stroke of genius or a complete binfire. Can't see it being much in-between.

Aye he said that whilst he’s taken loads of stuff from Rodgers, so has McGlynn so they’ll both know how the other is going to try and play.
Iain
Looks to me like we're playing for a draw, with an upside hope of snatching a goal on the break

It's French for doing something unconventional/f**king mental and hoping that it works. Never had Scott Brown down as a dabbler in avant-garde methods. He's full of surprises.
