Midfield offers no protection to the defenceHad a decent 10 minute spell when we scored the 2nd but didn't offer an awful lot. We need a more mobile midfield, don't need Harkins to do his bit at a snails pace when we have Slater to be the playmaker. A masterclass in time wasting from the Edinburgh players which they were allowed to do by the woeful ref. Cannot see what the thinking is in playing Harkins, brings so little to the team other than gifting free kicks to the opposition. By the looks of things we seem intent in bringing shedloads of midfielders and not strengthening the areas most in need.
