Queen's Park Broomhill Cumbernauld Colts East Stirlingshire University of Stirling Lothian Thistle HV Glasgow University are all licensed and groundsharers. You could add Tynecastle in the sense they share with Boroughmuir RFC. Fort William play all their league games away. Others have groundshared previously and Cove Rangers somehow even got away with sharing 'travelling circus'-style.
shuggie123
Do they lose their licence if they move to share another ground that doesn't meet the criteria eg floodlights?

Would if moved to incompliant ground, although don't think anybody has.
tamthebam
Spartans actually had a better licence than Edinburgh City when we moved to share Ainslie Park!

Being petty here, I believe Cumbernauld Colts have the primary lease on broodwood, meaning clyde are the 'sharers'

I can't quite remember the timeline for this, but wasn't that a case of being a historical member of the SFA at the time. They weren't considered fully licenced?

They weren't considered fully licenced? Yeah they had to play in Scottish Cup Prelim Rounds rather than join in Round 2 for at least one season - I think technically the only reason they qualified was because they won the Highland League They effectively got an exemption from any other penalties as their Chairman used his sway at the SFA as the "Historical Member" - a lá Girvan.
Saints1921
Latest photo of St Andrews United's floodlights and recent Social Media post below . . . Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, This time tomorrow we will be making history by playing the first ever Senior football match under floodlights in St Andrews!!! The lights now meet SFA standards and look fantastic, as can be seen from our photograph! The game against Kennoway Star Hearts kicks off at 7.45pm and the top gate will open at 7pm. Entry is the usual £6 for adults plus £3 for concessions. There are a limited number of programmes left from the Edinburgh United match since we produced a double issue and The Social Club bar will be open at 6pm. See you tomorrow and enjoy the game!

FairWeatherFan
Anyone other than St Andrews United on the cards this year? Edinburgh South, Bo'ness Athletic, and Syngenta seem like a few that might fly under the radar with their small supports. All groundsharing at grounds of other licenced clubs. Syngenta seem to have some of the telltale policy guidance on their website, Bo'ness Athletic have the links set up but nothing there.

The latter given preference on hire due to higher tier. -

Assuming Banks O'Dee win promotion this season, there needs to be some licensed clubs for 2023/24 ?
Dev
News of licences being granted to Rutherglen Glencairn (West) and to Tayport (Mids). I hope we hear from St Andrews United too before long. Fingers crossed! Edited June 1, 2022 by Dev .

LongTimeLurker
I wouldn't necessarily read anything into that. Sometimes clubs don't announce it at this point and wait for the SFA's AGM.
FairWeatherFan
As it's that time of year for some surprises. Legacy level as part of the SFA's Quality Mark scheme. Groundsharing at Ochilview.
