Not yet but it’s the sort of thing extension rebellion would do. Also it’s London we are talking about which is full of c***s.

Point of order, it's Extinction Rebellion.

If you're going to take an unfounded pop at an organistation you've got a problem with, at least get the name right as you won't look quite so much of a wazzock...

Extension rebellion are a splinter group who are a bit more proactive and aggressive than extinction rebellion. Sort of the same idea as the free church/free church continuing.

We're getting closer here, at least there's a book with that title.

Well yeah - it was about the expansion of a runway so it’s the same people were talking about.

So we've gone from a splinter group of Extinction Rebellion to an author of a book.

You don't need to be a railway engineering expert to run a coach and horses through Network Rail's tendentious bullshit excuses in Twitter, for running an absolute nick of a railway system. All you need is a capacity for critical thinking and (in this case) the ability to compare to analogous cases where temperatures are more extreme on a more regular basis than anything in the UK. And so it doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I can certainly see why you would be struggling with applying such basic concepts though.

Here’s some “critical thinking” for you.  Perhaps people who are experts in their field might know more about a subject that you do.

Applying critical thinking does not mean being continuously contrarian.

No, it's really not 'applying critical thinking' to take the social media PR spin of Network Rail as an impartial, expert analysis for why the UK rail network (legal responsibility: Network Rail) is a complete fucking nick in hot weather.

It's not 'being contrarian' to point out the obvious logical flaws in their bullshit line of explanation.

And it takes the credulity of an utter imbecile (you) to expect NR not to try and cover their backs on social media with such bullshit. Because that's how corporate PR works.

Thanks for playing anyway chump.
