Les Westander of County
Both teams will be happy enough with this draw out of the hat. But who will prove it was indeed winnable... by winning it. ? Bookies and I should say County. So I'll predict a 0-2 Away Win. Mullin is desperate to score so he will, twice. Fuctifano
The last time County came to Firhill they were even money, they've improved and we're probably about the same or slightly worse as we were at the end of February (McDonald had signed but hadn't really got going ) , yet County are 7/5 to win and 8/11 to qualify. Makes not a lick of sense to me.
CountyFan
7/5 is a very attractive price for county on current form. Played 6, won 5 and drawn 1 to start the season and it should have been 6 from 6. I rate partick and I know it wont be an easy game but I'd be heavily backing county at that price. bunglebonce
Today's P&J states that Simon Power will be fit and available for Saturday and Lee Erwin's clearance has come through.
Spain
Hopefully both get a bit of game-time in this to help get them back up to speed.
staggy1929
Erwin to score. Also Power will run really fast to the amazement of all in attendance. 1-3 away win.
CountyFan
I hope they play an unchanged XI and try to win this game. Last 8 of a competition we know is winnable is a big carrot.

BillyAnchor
Some more visiting money from our certain defeat would have been nice.

It's just that visiting will be all it will be doing, Uncle Roy will be keeping it on his person.
Nightmare
County bullied us last year, and without knowing too much about their squad changed this summer, I would assume they’ve strengthened. Easy away win.
Hammer Jag
We’ll be on the receiving end of an absolute hounding and there will be less than 2,000 there to witness it. What a time to be alive.
Reid
Absolutely gutted that I’m having to work on Saturday.
Comrie
Had to be an ex-County player (though he didn't play much) to score the winner against us.
Hammer Jag
Perennial loser Blair Spittal’s career summed up this afternoon. You love to see it.
AMMjag
Blair Spittal Nothing he does in football will ever not end in failure. GIRUY. Say what you like about Caldwell but there's been few games across his tenure where we haven't at least been competitive in the match. We survived a couple of sitters in the 90 minutes but getting De Vita off and Robson on improved us immeasurably going forward. A deserved win and bring on Life's Losers away in the next round. Nightmare
Well, that was a pleasant surprise. Commiserations to County, and a massive GIRUY to pathetic shitebag Blair Spittal.
yoda
What did Blair Spittal do?
Reid
Missed the first half but sounds like I missed nothing. Thought we were poor and never looked like we were going to create anything until Miller’s goal but after that we were the better team by quite a bit. McGinty was excellent once again and MOTM for me. Miller, Penrice and Saunders also very good. Palmer and Robson effective when they came on too.
