Not dreams, facts!

Embows correct claim was 10 years and If we are dealing only in facts.

You said.

"1927 Scottish Cup final - runners up, 1938 Scottish Cup final - Winners, 1948 Scottish League Cup final - Winners, 1950 Scottish Cup final - runners up, 1950 Scottish League Cup final - Winners, 1954 Scottish League Cup final - Winners"

All perfectly true, but only half the tale and little to do with Embow's statement of 10 years EFFC supremacy (which is actually wrong but a different reason) .

In reality.

1927 East Fife reached the final but failed to win promotion from Division 2, where as Rovers were promoted that season and for good measure beat the Fife twice that season (all facts backed up by John Litsters ANS Bible).

1938 Won the cup but failed to win promotion from Division 2, Raith on the other hand did, they were promoted as champions despite losing twice in the league and  in the QF replay to Fife.

Fife's glory years/The not even (sorry Embow) 10 Years East Fife were better,

1948 East Fife won the LC and were promoted as champ's, Raith finished 4th. Raith won 2 and lost 1 of the 2 games against East Fife.

1950 East Fife won the LC  and finished 4th in Div 1 Raith finished 9th  Raith W3 L1 D1 in 5 meetings

1954 east Fife win LC and finish 6th, Raith 12th. 3 draws from 3 meetings.

1954-55 EFFC 11th, RRFC14th,

1955-56 EFFC 12th, RRFC 11th

1956-57 EEFC15th, RRFC 4th.

1957-58  EFFC 17th (R) RRFC 7th.

I didn't even have to go far for this info as it most of it was well documented in the Raith programmes against East Fife last season.

Did you just make these stats up???
1948 - there was TWO meetings, East Fife won them both
1950 - there was FOUR meetings, East Fife won two of them drew one and lost one
1954 - there was TWO meetings, both draws

There was THREE meetings in 1948 East Fife won 2 we won 1

And what was this “third” meeting, Frank???

You only played each other TWICE in the League back then (home and away) and we certainly didn’t meet in any of the cups!!!

FYI, the results in these games were

East Fife 3-2 Raith Rovers

Raith Rovers 0-4 East Fife

If you are including any Fife or Penman Cup ties or even the Wemyss and District Tramline Trophy the argument is void!!!

Pretty much being lucky as f**k in the cups. Not as lucky in the league. East Fife are utter no marks, pretty much says it all

You’ve only beaten us by a grand total of TWO more League Games than we have beaten you, hardly unequivocal superiority is it!!!

East Fife League Wins - 29

Draws - 14

Raith Rivers League Wins - 31

ETA: Can actually believe that a Rovers Fan is accusing another team of being lucky regarding cup wins!!![emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I don't know KK, it does show what can be done with a full time set up, being based in a large town and having a huge fanbase.

And don’t forget it took them 30 years of “domination” to get to that lofty position of being TWO games better than us!!!
Wonder what the stats were back then???[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
