You're totally right.

I got as far a the back of the EU queue statement.

Malky will never be able to back that up. It should actually be embarrassing for him.

Yep really embarrassing........ For you

the EU said that an Independent Scotland would have to go to the back of the queue!

Quote

Jacqueline Minor, who until earlier this month was the European Commission’s official representative in the UK, previously warned that an independent Scotland would join a “list” of countries seeking membership.

However, she added that Scotland’s path may prove easier than other countries going through the application process as Scottish laws already comply with those required by the EU.

If there's a queue to join the EU, then how did the scenario below pan out?

Turkey made an initial application in 1987 & was accepted as a candidate in 1997.

Croatia first applied in 2003.

Which application was accepted first?

(Clue for Malky: Turkey isn't a current EU member. Croatia is.)

TL:DR Malky's talking shite again

Has there been any Scottish polling done yet? Or is it being buried by the MSM because they don't like what they are seeing?

Some golf club with a membeship who are highly handicapped(over 10+) say there is no reason for Scotland to become independent.

Peterhead fishermen must be the most vox popped people in the nation.

P.S. Lib Dems saying that the whole of Scotland is neck and neck between them and the Tories.

Yep no surprise, they've been getting shafted by Brussels for years and the amount of the likes of cod in our waters is back to being dangerously low because of the over fishing.

They should probably stop doing it then.

ITV doing well...
https://www.itv.com/news/2019-11-12/what-is-the-feeling-in-scotland-as-the-country-prepares-to-head-to-the-polls-for-the-fifth-time-in-six-years/
Banff and Buchan is the only constituency in Scotland that voted leave and it is not a surprise it did so.

The EU referendum was counted by council area, not Westminster constituency, with Scottish councils going a perfect 32/32 for Remain, including Aberdeenshire which backed staying the EU 55%-45%.

Banff and Buchan is within Aberdeenshire but is only part of Aberdeenshire as a whole (West Aberdeenshire & Kincardine as well as Gordon are other constituencies in Aberdeenshire)

Therefore, despite Aberdeenshire voting remain alongside the other 31 councils, Banff and Buchan constituency did vote to leave (54% leave to 46% remain)

Heard somewhere that nearly all the fish that UK fishermen catch for the UK market, like cod and haddock, are caught outside UK waters, and the vast majority of the catch inside UK waters is sold to EU countries. So tariffs could be a bit of a bummer, even if fewer EU boats are allowed in.

Anytime I see the NE fisherman on the news they seem to be greedy self serving b*****ds who are only intrested in jam today. They moan about quotas but the reason they are quotas is because they themselves decimated the stocks and didn't help them improve by their involvment in the black fish trade. If we leave no deal I hope they feel it tight as they are useful stooges for the tories and are only to willing to throw the smaller west coast fleet under the bus.
