Tri-TON
Rumour is he is going to Stranraer I don't usually post rumours unless it is to wind up our fans - who start crying if you post a jokey rumour. Was passed on by an Ayr fan I know, just said it was in the Ayr forum though so nothing concrete.
Dunning1874
We’re surely not going to sign a winger? It’s the last thing we need.
parsforlife
Fon williams to us on loan. Would be a good bit of business

oneteaminglasgow
It would not. Anything that reduces the chance of Ryan Scully playing would be a good bit of business for Dunfermline.

vikingTON
If we can develop another Cadden with this signing then that's fine; the issue right now though is that there are other areas of the park that could have done with strengthening before adding a 17th winger to the books. Over the last seven days our squad has got worse not better: a credible centre back at the very least is needed before the window slams shut.
madton
Gavin Gunning was all set to come back to Morton but has played for 2 clubs already this season ( just 1 game for Billericay) so sounds like it might be dead although Hopkin is still hoping to somehow get it over the line. Least we know about this one before we sign him, unlike Tidser! We are still expecting to sign a couple more today apparently.

Really Morton fans would be better cherishing their fond memories of Gunning rather than pining for a return. By all accounts he did well in short spell and left on good terms with the club and fans. That might be a first for Gavin; everyone else thinks he's a cunt.

Ben Arfa wasn't allowed to sign for Nice once because of that rule, they counted Newcastle's Under 21s as a competitive fixture and it seems pretty stringent. Not really sure how Morton could get him, there's some leeway if you go to a country with different calendars but wouldn't apply in this case. Only thing I can think of is maybe if the Conference North isn't technically an official competition under FIFA for some reason.
RossBFaeDundee
Murray deal dead in the water apparently. We've also been knocked back in a bid for Danny Mullen. Less than promising so far if I'm honest.
D'Jaffo
I’m amazed at how little work clubs do to check these things out. As previously mentioned Morton signed Tidser in League One and couldn’t play him for 6 months. Even this week we had a guy up from Ipswich on trial and everything was ready to go and had to be cancelled at the last minute. Same thing happened with a guy we wanted from Coventry last year although we didn’t go to the bother of having him train with us. In that situation you’d think the parent club would check before offering him out and we would check before wasting his time having him on trial.

There was that season where Raith just thought they could easily postpone a match if they didn't have a 'keeper, that was peak Scottish Football.
