Hancock claiming medical staff might not have got it in work. How unlucky would you need to be to work 7 12 hour shifts in a Covid ward, then get it off a supermarket trolley?

He's really said that? Holy f**k.

So, to the surprise of absolutely no one, after an initial display of at least trying to pretend to give a shit about the general population in the early days of this crisis and cliched press conference, the Tories have, as we all knew they would, reverted to their natural state of sociopathic, unapologetic c***s.

Wow, never saw that coming.

Not sure if this is Preeti or her twin Priya. They apparently appear on late night tv shows.

That is clearly Preeti as she is the only one with that tattoo.  I spoke to her once.

Yes he really did, these fuckers are crumbling, now we need superbojo to finally turn up and take the credit for grabbing the tiller in the nick of time.

Picture the scene you've got your gloves on the trolley handle and are following the one way system through your local supermarket.    You reach the tinned produce aisle,  you consult the list and you need peaches, soup and tuna.

Do you....

A)  Spend a little extra on a tin with a ring pull?
B)  Buy a naked can and use a tin opener*?

Ring pull. Is it even that much extra now? You have to handle the lid either way anyway.

I eat tuna twice weekly.   By buying a naked can twice weekly I saved enough money over a calendar to buy a new microwave on a black Friday deal.

Think about it.

Really? Is it that much?

I thought it was only pennies.

I suppose in your case then it would be worth buying the non ring pull cans.

If I haven't been concentrating I sometimes get cans without a ring pull. It's very disappointing when you pick one out the cupboard. Some stuff isn't always available in ring pulls us and brands of tomatoes, chick peas, mushy peas. It can be a real issue.

I remember on my mothers death bed she looked at me and said....."Grahame you look after the pennies and the microwaves will look after themselves"

She's dead now.

Wise words
