pandarilla
You would assume when notified of the positive test they are in effect ordered to look out for the imminent calls.Wonder if physical visits to those positive who ignore calls will take place.Surely to f**k we've got this kind of thing sorted, and quickly. The entire easing of restrictions rests on being able to communicate with those who need to isolate ASAP. Technology is all well and good but we need folk doing the hard graft of checking off lists and chapping doors.

D.A.F.C
Opposing SAGE group leader has asked two valid points. 1. Why are we loosening lockdown conditions when it’s worse than it was than when we started lockdown. 2. Did we make a huge error in not locking down earlier. Greece locked down at three deaths and have only had 170 deaths in a country of ten million.

Undoubtedly it would be better to wait till the numbers were (much) lower, but it's a bit of a disingenuous question as he knows this
Silvio Tattiescone
Zero cases in Ninewells ICU at the moment. My sister's well pissed off as there hasn't been any overtime going for weeks because they're overstaffed now.

pozbaird
Been a good day here in Cumbernauld-by-the-sea. Two neighbours having BBQs and a pal over. Talking to each other across back garden fences. Kids laughing and splashing around in blow-up paddling pools. Folk having a good time, a sense of positivity.
DeeTillEhDeh
A full card finally returns for curtain twitchers everywhere today, with joggers and sunbathers kicking things off followed by barbecues and garden swallies in the big evening kick-offs. And if they're bored of that then they can always traipse back to their local supermarket again and harrumph at all the other people for being there as well. Or spread shite that Iain Blackford broke lockdown?

Just looking forward to the day when there’s no graphs, no Tory cnuts talking shite at 5pm every day, and no-one acting like a complete fanny and jumping into the path of a speeding Mercedes A Class, rather than simply walk past me on an otherwise deserted pavement. Not unreasonable hopes and dreams.

Loosening lockdown is not the equal and opposite of entering lockdown. When we entered lockdown is ludicrously obvious that the true infection levels were far greater than those recorded which were always going to lead on to a rapid increase in recorded cases. The situation now is that we may have more recorded cases but we've seen a trend of that decreasing for a long time.
