Detournement
Glasgow city centre was mobbed tonight for a Sunday. I'm guessing people are expecting another lockdown so getting out while they can.
Szamo's_Ammo
Was in a pub in Dundee on Friday and a few in Glasgow on Saturday. As someone who enjoys a good sing and a dance, I think I will be sticking to (socially distanced) house get togethers for the foreseeable future. Unless I'm told I'm not allowed to, as is the case in Glasgow.

It was also a beautiful day with no football of substance to watch.

It's probably down to people taking their annual leave now as well but it's definitely the busiest i can remember seeing the city centre on a Sunday.

H Wragg
HmmWhat's wrong with what he said? The way he used 'them' is exactly how I would say it in conversation, and I suspect the vast majority of people would do likewise.
Billy Jean King
This was in Troon yesterday. They were very strict on masks away from actually sitting at your table if inside but a couple of decent sized golfing parties down in mini buses were watching the GP and Wales game with volume and the restaurant had background music on. Where were you, if you don't mind me asking

Beautiful day, first in a while, so loads of day trippers. -
Marshmallo
Swinney stating a pretty irrefutable point here (for once) and parents are flying off the handle. I wish I was as forthright and intelligent as anyone who has "GOAT TWO WEANS" -

Very strange. I'm all for it, but there are three things in that paragraph alone that are absolutely against the rules
Billy Jean King
Very strange. I'm all for it, but there are three things in that paragraph alone that are absolutely against the rules [emoji23]Totally but no one was batting an eyelid. It's not really a singing and shouting type place, it was a hotel with public bar and restaurant. The golfers might have been overnight residents but I doubt that makes much difference. Pubs in Troon 100% dont have volume up on their TVs that I noticed but only been once, they might have changed. -

Nor does it matter what type of place it is. The idea that you can get a minibus into a hotel restaurant in troon no bother, then relax with bgm or a tv with volume, but can't go out anywhere else in a group larger than 8 (from 3 households and must stay 1m apart) and must have no background volume at all is the type of contradiction which is starting to wind people up. I know you are not saying any of those things btw. Edited September 7, 2020 by Todd_is_God -
D.A.F.C
Interesting tactic this. "The Scottish Government has in my opinion done something badly because they didn't do what they said they would, haven't done anything at all instead, and an entire industry is on the brink of being wiped out." WHY NOT JUST WRITE SNPBAD!!!!! Clowns. Its pointless saying anything critical of the snp on here. Best to leave them to it.I vote snp btw.

NotThePars
HmmStill in absolute bits at this as if not treating a political party like your football team somehow discounts your argument

Thereisalight..
I was on a small boat trip yesterday. 12 people with no social distancing and the option to wear a mask (nobody did). Later on the owner of the boat posted on a local FB page about the trips and someone was outraged “what about the social distancing?!?!?!?!”. Not sure what the stance on it is legally but we were outdoors and the option of masks was given
