peasy23
She has long been a fuckwit of the highest order. I haven't seen anybody that has been advocating "packing in fans", only people pushing for a return of limited crowds like the rest of Europe seems to be doing.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Music and Arts shut because their venues are too small for social distancing. if only people were allowed in safer, large outdoor venues like stadiums then it would be viable to have gigs. For example stages could be set up at the Falkirk Stadium, The Tony Macaroni, Accies Hovel when games are not being played.

Guest
I got a text at work yesterday saying I’ve been in close contact with someone who has tested positive and that I have to self isolate until next Wednesday. Got a phone call a couple of hours later and the lady explained in more details of the self isolation. Very quick and efficient and also very calm and friendly, as I can imagine a lot of people would have been freaking out on the phone to her after receiving the text. All fine, she did say though that she would email me the outlines of what I’m meant to do, however I haven’t received that email yet. I’m thinking maybe she had written my email address down wrong. Anyone else been through the above? Did the email take long to land after the call? This was about 6 o’clock last night. I feel absolutely fine, FWIW. No symptoms or anything but will of course adhere to the advice given. Quick get to your nearest school, you'll be safe there as the virus doesn't spread around schools.

So the article says there isn't transmission in Tayside yet. But evidence across Scotland of transmission in schools. 1 minute ago, Ludo*1 said: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/aug/10/little-evidence-covid-spreads-in-schools-says-gavin-williamson "Little evidence" So there is some evidence 1 minute ago, Ludo*1 said: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/07/13/german-study-finds-no-evidence-coronavirus-spreads-schools/ Schools do not play a major role in spreading the coronavirus, according to the results of a German study released on Monday.... So they play a minor role? The above are all quotes from the articles you shared, no one has claimed that there is some kind of special protection in schools to prevent viral transmission... -

The article pretty squarely puts the blame at the door of the staff, when all the blame lies with the owners and managers. Tbh it's what I would expect from the Record and their attempts at investigative journalism
