Billy Jean King
He already explained that in his post - these people are the ones making the decisions and you still need to be informed about what's going on in your country.Yes but not from Leitch and Shrudar who make no policy announcements so can be safely ignored as far as possible. -

People seek out their opinion because their opinion could have a drastic affect on our their life for the rest of this year and potentially next. You say some folk are losing their minds - aye, they are, I am one of them. Maybe the likes of Leitch and Sridhar would do well to fucking acknowledge that every now and again and shut the f**k up about restrictions continuing well into next year. But why persist viewing or reading anything from people who you admit are causing you to lose your mind. That has to be counter productive. But their input is pretty much driving government policy. If Sturgeon won't stand up and say it, we are perfectly entitled to take her advisor's word for it. This cannot be ignored. Even if you switch Sridhar and Leitch off the moment their face appears on tele, the words of what they're saying continue to directly affect your life - pretty much everything in the country that isn't essential retail is shut. No entertainment venues and no holidays either. And you can't visit your family. There is nothing to be gained by ignoring them. Indeed it'll probably be worse as you'll know nothing.

NotThePars
Did Sandy Comarty off here not say he was part of the Citizens Assembly? Aye so we have at least one person extolling the virtues of Singaporean policing to the government.

You don't "pretty much disregard" everything they say, considering you're on here defending their almost every word. I am not in the habit of defending either of the two, I am wholeheartedly against zero Covid and eradication. No idea what gave you the impression that I was in favour of their policies. It's that very reason why I don't go actively seeking their nonsense. I have little option in here given it's regurgitated verbatim. I was more referring to reading their social media outlets which I totally choose to ignore. -
Thereisalight..
I’ve not read in any great detail about this latest incarnation of the “zero covid” utopia. Surely they’re not advocating lockdowns/tiers for the long haul? Why not just go the whole hog and try for zero cold/flu/norovirus as well Honest to fck if people want to go down that route then let them stay indoors watching Netflix all day and being afraid of their own shadow, but let the majority of us get back to living rather than just existing
