What's the reasoning behind indoor pubs being allowed to open until 10.30, but outdoor areas have to shut at 10.00?Everyone outside will just shuffle indoors for the last half an hour.

You're not allowed to be outdoors in a beer garden after 10pm anyway. Because licencing laws for whatever reason.

Frantically refreshing my barbers booking site as if I'm trying to buy Taylor Swift gig tickets.

Finally got an appointment. Tempted to book loads more and sell them off for a few extra quid to shaggy haired hipsters.

When dealing with the "hospitality sector", do the gov think all bars and pubs are some trendy brewdog Edinburgh new town gaff with an online booking system?

Try coming to any local with working class punters and telling them to leave after they've been there 2 hours and have had 5 pints. No fucking chance

5 pints in 2 hours? Ffs up that the 2 hour limit should be seen as a challenge to get so steaming in two hours that your legs don't work

I'm not sure anyone will pay much attention to that 8 from 3 rule. But that sounds otherwise promising. Agreed on the stadia numbers. Watch them start the Betfred Cup with a 200 fan limit at Tynecastle or something.

No I think that after the last restriction things will just ebb into insignificance.

Also not sure you would get 200 Jambos wanting to go to Tynecastle even if you were allowed.

Have the tier systems been revised, did she say what data the are basing there tiers on, infections/hospitalisations/deaths etc

No. Willie Rennie asked this, but NS avoided actually answering it.

Aye I think you're probably right. They'll just naturally fizzle out and (hopefully) we'll find ourselves returning to pretty much normal almost without realising. There might be things like mask wearing in hospitals, especially over winter, or hand sanitiser stations everywhere. But I actually don't think those would be bad changes.

Robbie Neilson's sexy football show not enticing the fans back. Sad times.

The 1 day a year when it is warm enough to drink outside in Scotland until 10.00 isn’t the problem.....it is the other 364.

These were the level 0 measures last time round.

Why on earth have the limits on indoor socialising tightened this time?!

The move to Level 0 hasn't been caveated with that has it, I read the transcript and can't see that?

The household meeting is an early relaxation 17th May before full Level 0 in June, unless I missed something?

That was the most positive I've seen Sturgeon in a long time.

The tiers bear no resemblance to the previous ones. There was even a bit of light at the end of the tunnel for the entertainment sector. The other announcement that will make a big difference is the restart grants - that will be very welcome for some businesses.

Pretty realistic overall - the only ones that will be negative about it are the usual suspects.

Very strange no mention of the levels at all in that, but as the vaccine obliterates the virus hopefully the easements become more and more relaxed.
