That's all fine and well Dr. Atherton, but what happens if you are estranged from your family and don't want to spend a single minute with them? What happens if you are 18 and couldn't give a toss about the same people that you live in the same household as for a 24/7 period? What happens if your workplace and your original family home are separated by hundreds of miles, so you look forward to meeting up with old pals? 

Apparently these don't matter because Dr Frank has already decided What Christmas Is About and it definitely does not involve the demon drink. So he'll just shut everything down then. This is the upper middle-class, Christmas like the Waltons family, fucking psycho mindset that is driving policy in the UK. At every single stage in the pandemic, these 'public health experts' are in fact substituting their own pretensions for the rest of the population's free choice.

I am by no means a small man (no underlying health issues though) but I am double vaccinated and have been positive since the start of the week and can confirm it was pretty much a head cold, sore throat and a bit of a tight chest for about 48 hours.

Sitting completely fine now apart from no sense of smell which in Paisley may not always be a bad thing.

It's a doddle with two jags. A fucking doddle. This sort of shit needs to be expressed in the strongest possible terms. If you get two jags, you're going to sail through it. My next door neighbour is on the live donation list for a kidney and caught it in the summer - again, double jagged. Was feeling really shite for 5 days and that was it. Someone so immunocompromised that they need a whole new fucking organ caught it and it was no more than a severe chest infection, thanks to having both jags. And that was the more severe variant!
