Well to be fair, that would make the vaccine more or less the same as the flu one. Which means the virus will be endemic, and so long as those most at risk of serious illness or death are vaccinated there’s no more need to vaccinate the population at large than there is for the flu.

Szamo's_Ammo
Covid: landlords want government support Quote Steve Griffiths, the Mortgage Lender’s sales director, said: “When the government was putting together its package of financial assistance for homeowners and tenants, buy-to-let landlords weren’t a consideration." My heart bleeds for buy-to-let landlords.
ICTChris
Channel4News has a second report in a row about a massive outbreak in a Scottish care home. Almost everyone in a luxury care home in Aberdeenshire, carers and patients.
Paco
Looks like the UK Government are asking schools to close on December 18th at the latest to lessen the chance of the little cherubs taking Covid into family homes at Christmas, and to prevent school teachers being on call to deal with Track & Trace if necessary. The Scottish government last week decided this wasn’t needed. Out-ghouling the Tory government - not a great look.
Rugster
Don’t know what we clean highlanders need to do to get into T1 but at least we should be able to visit other houses.

Bairnardo
What's available to good, well behaved level 2 dwellers such as myself? Is the only difference really getting a drink with a Scotch Egg? Does anywhere in Fakirk sell Scotch Eggs and pints of T?
vikingTON
Creamy pints are available outdoors without food and leisure travel to other low risk areas for tier 2. Just as well that the Clyde Riviera has direct ferry links to the west Highlands while the plague railway is off limits.

I thought 18th had been standardised everywhere since august to make up for teacher lost days after the standardised august return?

She'll be very compromised in general from now on, it'll be difficult for Sky to get her to be taken seriously from now on.
