Scrapped in places of worship from Monday, but not in shops or public transport until the middle of next month.

Ahahahahahaha.

Nothing to do with her being photographed in a church maskless yesterday.

Would like to the evidence based on how you don't have to wear a mask in places of worship but have to everywhere else.

It's simple. People sing in shops but not in churches. People stand/sit next to each other for extended periods in shops but not in churches.

Has it been explained why self-isolation (apart from travel based) has always only been included in guidance in Scotland whereas mask wearing has been a legal requirement?

If the vast majority of the public agrees with mask wearing why does it need to be a legal requirement..?

They can voluntary do so all they want.

Exactly this.

I'm also pretty sure there's very little intersection between "people who currently wear a mask" and "people who will stop wearing a mask when the legal mandate is lifted".

I just don't see what a legal restriction aims to achieve. Surely everyone should be questioning this, regardless of your view on masks?

This talk of the 18th of April is meaningless because she can easily change her mind again like she did with 21st March.

She cannot be trusted to keep to her word.

This is simply indefensible control freakery.

It's almost as though she is deliberately trying to see how far she can push people and still win elections.

More and more people will just stop wearing them after Monday I think. Even seen a few of the SNP cult's on twitter questioning this decision.

The actual fcuk sake. Belt out hymns maskless, but if you walk out the church and nip into Tesco Express for a packet of dry roasted nuts and a case of Breaker Malt Liquor, you need to slap a piece of polyester patterned shite on your face?

Shameless, absolutely fcuking shameless. Sturgeon will cry her eyes out the day she needs to let go of mandatory facemask rules and packs her wee tartan facemask away in the drawer. Bunch of cnuts, but that has become clear as day over the last few months. Progressive, moderate left-of-centre party with a Scottish sensibility that was far removed from chinless posh old Etonian Tories - who could also deliver independence. That’s the SNP I voted for - fcuk allowing these charlatans to run anything.
