peasy23
I remember the sjfa giving all clubs a grand when we had a harsh winter with no football for 6/8 weeks probably 8/10 years ago ..2010 into 2011 it was IIRC, games were off for ages. We were supposed to play Tayport at the end of November, it wasn't played until February.

Junior Pub League
Nope the statement says all professional and grassroots football that falls under the SFA. edit to add - Ian Maxwell, Scottish FA Chief Executive: “Since the guidance outlined by governments last night we have been engaged in extensive dialogue to clarify the position and implications of that guidance for Scottish football. “Today’s announcement is made in the interests of public health but, equally, the health and safety of players, match officials, and staff across the game. This is of paramount importance as the country enters the ‘delay’ phase of the coronavirus pandemic. “It is also why the Scottish FA is compelled to ensure that the suspension is cascaded through the non-professional and grassroots games until further notice.” Edited March 13, 2020 by Junior Pub League
theesel1994
As the SFA appoint the referees I assume this means the Juniors as well?
Ross.
Any truth to the rumour that the SJFA asked the virus to postpone so they could get the cup games played?

beithboy
This has big ramifications for a lot of smaller clubs who deeksperately need income to stay alive, and with the ban being indefinite at this point with the peak of the out break still 14 weeks away it will be devastating.

Jordy
After the SFA announcement, I don't think Talbot / SJFA had any choice but to follow suit...
