SHIRE ARE NOT NOW RUNNING TO THE COURTS UNLIKE A CERTAIN GORGIE BASED LEAGUE TEAM THREATENS TO DO Shire don't have the money to run to the courts to get their 3rd best team in the Lowland League status confirmed. Shame that.

The man with no name
Congratulations to Cove Rangers for winning the league. Ann Budge on the working party for league reconstruction so that's bound to be fair and impartial!!!!
an86
Budge greeting about too many clubs in Scotland and now pushing for reconstruction that may well add two more. Delicious.
marco44
Congratulations Cove Rangers. Ann Budge is on the working party for league reconstruction. I guarantee Hearts will still be playing in the top tier next season. You couldn’t make this up.

She shouldn't be involved in this, though.

true fan
Next season there will be 17 teams in the top flight. The team based nearest to gorgie road will start the season on 20 points. Each team will play one match then Ann budge decides the final league places.

But then this is football. Football makes it up.

Hearts will still manage to shite the bed and hand the title to Celtic IMO.

gm_1982
Brechin getting it tight on social media because we’ve been spared of relegation and think there is a conspiracy theory because Ken Ferguson is on the SPFL committee.Quite surprisingly, I’m also seeing a number of pundits who are supposed to know a lot about our game very confused as to why we haven’t been tarred with the same brush as Partick and Stranraer (and likely Hearts). Are these people aware that there is a playoff system at the bottom of league 2 and not automatic relegation?

Hopefully there soon will be automatic relegation for the bottom club in league 2,long overdue. -

The lowland league have decided no relegation this season so don’t think they have anything to moan about.

Not until there is a National league like in England, the new West coast league needs time to be integrated into the structure and then there will be a legitimate case but not now when half the country is excluded.

The new WoS league kicks off next season. The only part of Scotland that now dosnt have a pyramid system in place is the north, may be half the country area wise but it is well under half the population. That ain't gonna happen lex,we already have 2 good leagues below SPFL 2,if your north of the Tay,its the HL you go,if your south of it it's the LL. You lot better watch out Talbot are coming.........
Brazilianlex
I think you misunderstood my post. my point is there should be no automatic Promotion until the West is fully integrated and a National league is formed. at the moment the lowland league has teams who are poor and inferior to teams who came over from the juniors and are in leagues below so until lowland highland west are combined into a National league, there is no case to support automatic promotion. in addition, a decision will have to be had re Colts as Rangers and others want their teams in the new West league. -
Whitburn Vale
Scotland dosnt need another national league lex, that's why it go's highland/lowland and then east/west/south and hopefully soon north below that. Yeah there's dross at the bottom of the LL and HL but that's not what you would call Kelty,Bonnyrigg,Brora and Fraserburgh. The new West league has it's own forum now, maybe you should take a look..... P.s, the West league has accepted 67 applications none of them are Colts teams!!
