^^^It's a matter of principle but if we can't have that we'll have the money, or maybe vouchers.

I'll be changing sides tomorrow to the Hearts/Thistle/Falkirk camp. I've enjoyed the journey over the past few weeks, but it's time to move on. I might change back later though.

Pay particular attention to "As matters stand, we have not asked the Court to grant an interim interdict which would prevent next Season commencing on 1 August." Hearts and Partick know fine well they don't stand a chance of getting that injunction and it would look terrible if they even tried.
It took 12 minutes for that 100% of yours to turn into something much closer to 0%. Let that be a lesson as to how delusional the Jambo fan mindset is at the moment.

The only point of getting an injunction would be to stop things starting without us

By getting the timescale accelerated that strategy becomes a lot less relevant

Should Hearts and Patrick be successful the SPFL would have to decide whether it favours reconstruction or compensation and then have to decide the details of the reconstruction or the details of how the compensation will be funded and given that the SPFL is still 42 competing interests that could take a while. At that point an injunction might concentrate minds on the deadline.

They reserve the right to...

So, those shouting me down, has it yet gone to court or court papers issued? Subtle difference.
& do you honestly believe they won’t? If you think the answer is in the negative you’re more deluded than Doncaster et al!!

Think it’s commonly known as “ball’s in your court”.

So you're okay with, say, Rangers and Rangers Colts and Celtic playing in the same league together? You don't think there's possible conflicts of interest with two sets of players working for the same team and getting that month-end wage from the same boss? On the last day of the season, Rangers play Rangers Colts and there's a wafer-thin points margin between Rangers and Celtic at the top of the Premiership, and you reckon Rangers Colts will give it their all to deny the parent team the trophy, and bite the hand that feeds them?

Or do you think they should be forced into separate leagues, as happens on the continent - precisely because they do have some loyalty to the people paying their wages?

Willy is too simple to even begin to decipher that.

We all know the arse cheeks would pinch all the best U17 - U19 talent for peanuts, throw them in to the colts teams and leave most of them to rot while 1 or 2 may go on to make it at the respective senior team. The better youngsters in their own set up won't be near any Colts team.

The SPFL now have to respond, once they do both parties will then be encouraged to reach agreement before taking this to a full trial and given advice by Counsel on how to do so.  This will go all the way though as the child clubs aren't getting their way as the SPFL has no power to meet their demands.

Yous will be thrown out the league for this.

I know that, and you know that, but the delusional Kickback moon unit was under the misapprehension that an interdict would be both asked for by Hearts, and granted by the judge - with 100% certainty, and I was attempting to set him straight on that.

HAve you been following the news? There are lots of things that people in England can do that we cannot do up here. Why can’t you just admit that it would, in fact, have been impossible to complete the season and have teams in Europe in the coming season. That is a fact.

Yes. Usually for about a week or two. Then we do the same. I would rather the Scotgov would divert it's energies to getting our own testing and tracing up to England's (poor) standards and get our own care homes protection up to England's (poor) standards, than try to look independent and responsible by doing what they do - 7 days later.

Probably the wrong thread for that rant - apologies, mods.

So per the report that the SFA may heavily sanction Hearts over any potential move for legal action against the SPFL, I did a wee bit of digging. Per the SFA's Judicial Panel Protocol, the bit in red is the rule in which Hearts would be breaking, and the bit in blue are the potential sanctions.

More specifically, the provisions in which Hearts would be breaking are outlined in Statute 59.3 of the FIFA Statutes:

So should you be successful against the odds it will be for compensation because the SPFL can't guarantee reconstruction.
