Thought Talbot started really good in the first 20 minutes there players in the attacking third were excellent. Then weirdly After that they just boot it up the park again Niven and little who are both 6ft 4 Atleast . Bankies then dug in without being brilliant but we’re never under any real pressure. Worst I’ve seen Talbot defensively as a team in many a seasons. I know there’s a few on here that give the left back criticism but i think it’s justified after seeing that last night ..👀

Agree with this

Should be free entry.

Absolutely shocking this. Those who attended original fixture should have been reimbursed their hard earned money after the very early abandonment ,  heard glenafton gate attenders shut up shop very early rather than man the turnstiles until half time,  almost as though they knew the game would be abandoned.

Gatemen were nowhere to be seen.

Any idea what the procedure was when the Talbot v Pollok match was abandoned after 15 mins in 2013?

Great use of the time machine there.

I can’t remember what happened about charging for entry for the replayed game at Auchinleck. Not sure if there is/was guidance from the powers that be on that scenario

Iirc It was £4 to get into the rearranged game which seeing as it was a fiver full price at the time, might have actually been more offensive than just charging full price

From Facebook

Glenafton v Auchinleck Talbot 5th of April- Admission prices.

Admission to the rearranged match on Wednesday 5th of April at Loch Park will be set at a reduced rate of £3 for Adults and £2 for Concessions.

Despite league rules stating we should charge full admission for the rearranged fixture, this is something we have chosen not to do as we feel it would be unfair to both sets of supporters.

Charging half price will allow the club to recover the additional costs of hosting the rearranged midweek fixture such as referee costs and floodlight costs.

We would also like to apologise to both sets of supporters for the abandonment of Saturday's game.

However a deluge of rain in such a quick space of time is something we have no control over. Our ground staff and volunteers were working at the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday to ensure the game went ahead, and we are all disappointed the match had to be stopped.

Our existing admission prices remain one of the lowest in the league, and we remain one of the few clubs in the league that chose not to increase our admission prices at the start of the season.

From Dundee FC

Abandonment of the match after kick-off
In the event of the abandonment of match after kick-off, a person shall be permitted to enter the Stadium for a rearranged fixture on the presentation of the ticket stub and subject to compliance with any other arrangements as may be announced at the time.

Surely the money you fleeced from the fans in the first game would cover the costs of free entry?

Right topic this time 🙂
