Bonnyton lost players to the likes of Craigmark, Maybole and Girvan in the summer. That's their market and level at present. Lot of young players too from their youth system. Dyer to Drum - not sure what they're getting - he was a bit part player for East Stirlingshire last season. Injuries? Dyer picked up a serious injury in our second pre-season friendly. Got back to fitness and into the team in October, played about three games and injured again. He was back in the team and looked like becoming a regular before C-19 brought the season to an end.
EdinburghBlue
At £25 for a lino at a junior game, no they can'tI’m sorry, but this is beyond embarrassing for a national association.

Kenny*******Powers
Im hearing after last nights conference call, theres an agreement to look at a 20 team premier next season for one season only if the SFA agree to it
FairWeatherFan
Going by the last public update the Video Conference calls were due to begin on the 27th April. How big a spanner has this put in the works of having to go back and start talking with the same people?

Would work if no league cup, no "Junior Cup" and South Challenge Cup only. Talbot refuse to take Scottish Cup place ... might be a plan

Benburb, Bonnyton, Clydebank, Cumnock, Rossvale and Rutherglen with Auchinleck & Kilwinning meant to be putting them up soon.

That would mean 28 games. Edited April 29, 2020 by LongTimeLurker
holmparkheroes
If it goes to 20 for one season would that mean 7 relegated to get back to 16 and allowing one from each of three conferences promoted? What a dogfight that would be! Edited April 29, 2020 by holmparkheroes .

Clubs providing linesmen has been the norm at the lower levels of the junior game, so this is nothing new. Given the amount of abuse officials take there aren't enough people interested in doing it at the money that's on offer.
blairdardie bankie
So much for a brave new dawn and a level playing field. The old Junior mindset of a few clubs souring the milk so they get their way as usual. Fear of not having the upper hand.
not man of the match
Rightly so Darvel Icon! Teams have invested heavily in their squads already (Drumchapel) on the basis that all teams would be on a even footing only for the goalposts to be moved? If all the member clubs stick together and force a vote could it be overturned? so many clubs have been shafted!!! Maybe they should have waited until things were confirmed.
Darvel Icon
And what about the rest of the ambitious clubs that bought and paid into the “level playing field “ & have also been shafted? Your right.
