grumswall
That Morton strip is how I’ve always pictured or remembered how it should always be. Stunning. It looks like a rugby top...

grumswall
No, but some rugby tops look not unlike a Morton top. You say potato etc. I'm not saying it's a bad top, it does look like a rugby top though.
Rudolph Hucker
Well, Morton started in 1874, so did rugby, so let's call it honours even. PS - POTATO!!

[emoji16]I'd check if that was true if I could be arsed. I hope it is though, good little fact to tie in with the strip... Let's call the whole thing off though!

Football and rugby kits, back when there wasn't much a difference between the two codes, were often "cut from the same cloth" so to speak. You could order a big wad of stripey fabric and make the kit out of it. Rugby clubs tended to go with horizontal stripes to make their players look bigger and tougher and fitba teams tended to flip it to vertical stripes to make players look more nimble and speedy. That's why hoops appear more like rugby kits I guess?

Close, first Scotland v England game was 1871. Rugby in some form had been around for at least 30 years prior.

19QOS19
I'd genuinely have it as one of the worst, it works better in the white. The away one is let down by the sponsor. If I was a Rovers fan I'd be buying both providing the away one could be purchased without the sponsor.

Prefer the tag sponsor over the val mcdermid on the home strip personally

19QOS19
Prefer the tag sponsor over the val mcdermid on the home strip personally I think it blends in on home kit nicely. It stands out in the away one. Obviously the second one is better for the sponsor but it doesn't look as nice for me.
RiG
ICT have released our away shirt for this coming season. They have teamed up with Highland Hospice so a percentage of the sale from the away kit will go to help a local charity.

Well that certainly won't cause clash issues like your last away kit...
GiGi
The patterned ICT tops are actually just camoflage from the highland midge.

Ludo*1
I like a club going for something different and if it fails, it fails. But that's a mess and the designer at Puma should be sacked on the spot.
