Patting themselves on the back and forgetting the fact that 13 proud clubs won’t be playing this season largely due to their incompetence. Believe they were asked by a number of clubs to consider regionalising the conferences. Again they’ve made decisions against the best interests of their member clubs and government guidance. 6 Ayrshire clubs in a conference of 12. Would suggest more clubs may withdraw prior to the November date. They may have been asked by a number of clubs to regionalise but that doesn't make it a majority, or that they would have wanted to regionalise in the same way. And the November date is there because they know some clubs may choose to withdraw.

Then the split "Ayrshire"/"Central" one where the handful of Central teams would feel unjustly split from closer teams to go on 9 trips to Ayrshire/Kello. That's if you can even decide how to find the 4 extra teams to add to the Ayrshire grouping. If they had gone for 4x Conferences it would have worked pretty well. 9x in Ayrshire with the 30x split into ten team Conferences. Don’t think there’s any reason to have the different leagues completely equal in numbers, due to the circumstances it would just be great to have a solution so everyone can start playing again If they do something like this and play each other twice, that’s 14-18 (24 in the most extreme case) leagues games which tbh might still be pushing it. Remember it would only be for ONE SEASON to kick a ball in slightly meaningful games this season... Clubs pulled out for reasons beyond simply regionalising. No fans, starting on the 24th October, health & safety. There would have been withdrawals regardless. There was enough clubs in the Premier and early commitments from Premier division teams it was clear they were going to be able to have a Premier Division season of some description this season. So it just boiled down to how the Conference teams would be formatted.

Andy groundhopper
All systems go then, get the fixtures done and get the fans back in by 2021, am guessing the clubs geographic location always makes the formations difficult - now it's all Senior you have to do a bit more travelling, though this season could have been a bit more regional just to help. Hopefully the possible sanctions that I read on here, will stop any more clubs shutting down for the winter.
Hossy87
From the south looking in, and given we travel similar if not further distances this is all money driven. I get these clubs play players handsomely but the purpose of the game and premise is not money. We are all having to comply with covid rules and its a get out. The clubs if unable to play or unwilling should drop down graciously and let those who are of a suitable standard (professionally/ health based) prosper. Our budget this season has already gone on Health and safety and player welfare. More important than funding a cup

Only 13 non league clubs sitting another year after seven months of no games i really fear for. Clubs continuing to play have some great games and a fresh competition to look forward to and something for the fans to look forward to in these pandemic times. Fans are not allowed to attend

Some fans enjoy following their team even if they cant get into the ground. Some clubs will provide live stream coverage and they'll still be able to follow their team whether thats online or in the local newspaper. Fans will get back in eventually maybe not in 2020 but you would hope that by 2021 we'll be able to have some back in.
