RossBFaeDundee
Aberdeen keeps the proud tradition of Scottish teams putting six past NSI Runavik in every game they play against them. kingjoey
Comfortable night once the first goal went in. Billy Dodds confirmed tonight that he is a twat by picking Scott Wright as the Man Of The Match. Scottie played well enough, but there were three, four or five players better than him. It would be nice to get another home draw in the next round, mainly from the travelling aspect. I’m sure that we are seeded again, so the tie should be at least winnable. No idea why Ash Taylor was out tonight, but I hope that he will be back for Sunday.

Plus Considine could use the minutes.

BucksburnDandy
Routine stuff but that is what we can do when we keep going at 2-0 up against poor teams. Some good minutes into some players and no massive injury concerns at first glance. Positive night's work all in. Home draw v the lowest possible non seed please and thank you.

DrewDon
It's a good win, although with the caveat that Runavik were obviously a mile off it. As said above, it was nice to see that we didn't take our foot off the gas at half-time. I thought Kennedy was our best player - even when we were struggling to get going in the opening half hour, he was the player showing the most drive to run at the opposition, carry us up the pitch and just generally trying to make things happen. Hedges was excellent in the second half - obviously getting the hat-trick, but also just how lively he was and clearly how keen he was to stake a claim for a start on Sunday. Wright was also impressive, but it's probably the sort of game that suits him - the real challenge for Wright is building upon this performance against Hibs, assuming he starts the game (I think he should), and showing some consistency against different types and standards of opposition in the coming weeks and months.

All Scott Wright needs is Jim McIntyre to put his arm around him and tell him how good he is.

coprolite
Phew. When we were bypassing midfield for the first 15 mins i had the fear. I don't think most of the players realised how much better than them we were for a while. The old "too much respect". I know it's hard to judge how successful it was based on that game but i think the Mcgeough /Ferguson pairing should be our starting midfield. Job done. Easy draw please.
