First half was quite even and both sides played some nice stuff. Beith unlucky not to go 2-1 up at the break when Monk smashed the post with a great hit. Although Gartcairn were a bit fortunate to be level with their equaliser. Huge call from ref to give Beith free kick for handball just as Gartcairn were about to roll ball into the net to go 2-1 up... Beith keeper played ball straight to the striker, but ref reckoned he used hand to control it... I wasn't so sure about that. Then from the free kick, having just given Beith a big decision, ref totally bottled at as it looked a clear penalty to Beith after what looked a pretty clumsy challenge in the box. 2nd half and Beith were well on top and the winning goal when it came was well worked and well finished.
