Appreciate its general effectiveness - absolutely. But it's fundamentally a death by a thousand cuts, defend your own goal by endlessly hogging possession strategy. The FA cup match against Everton last night was a prime example of how it works, and his matches are utter snorefests 95% of the time as a result. The Ajax team that reached the semi final a couple of years ago had a truly adventurous style - one in which half of all passes were always played directly forward - and no fucks were given about being exposed defensively. Even Liverpool under Klopp - despite every right minded person rooting for them to fail - played an attractive and open style in the same CL campaign compared to the sanitised fayre of 'Pep's' latest hyperclub. Take out Messi's influence at Barcelona and his sides are insipid in terms of actual appeal to a neutral. an oldie but a goldie
Distant Doonhamer
Both legs of the Chelsea v Porto tie to be played 6 days apart in Seville. We'll quite possibly have the ridiculous scenario of a team progressing on away goals with both legs being played at the same neutral venue. Bizarre times. Chelsea v Porto in Seville.
Derry Alli
Will be good to see Haaland at the Etihad for the first of many times tonight.

No, Pep has said he can't afford to pay the fat parasite what he wants for the latest player he has got his claws into. Never mind that the club who Haaland is tied to a contract with might want to keep him, he needs even more money for doing nothing to benefit football in any way, shape or form. Hope the fat b*****d chokes on his next pizza.

Derry Alli
Liverpool getting a bit of a runaround. Dortmund look exceptionally comfortable on the ball going forward but that's a bad goal to concede.
