accies1874
A really imaginative appointment from Levy if it happens. When Pochettino went to PSG I saw someone predict that he'd be Spurs' next manager after Mourinho (although not this quickly) which I thought seemed a bit daft. That person is either v smart or Levy's v predictable.
Ro Sham Bo
I a assume that they think/hope that Pochettino returning might be enough to tempt Kane into staying.
mizfit
I a assume that they think/hope that Pochettino returning might be enough to tempt Kane into staying.Either that or they hope bringing back a manager who was loved by Spurs fans might stop the protests about the board and Levy.

It could depend on who else is willing to take on a rebuilding job , probably with limited funds, at Spurs.
David W
Ibrahima Konate has jetted in from space to sign for Liverpool. In true Liverpool centre half fashion he missed a huge part of last season injured.

Clockwork
Any chance that the EPL will review the use and application of VAR technology over the summer? It’s hardly enhanced the already over hyped experience of watching ‘the best league in the world’ has it? [emoji848]

Bishop Briggs
Carlo Ancelotti is in talks to return to Real Madrid according to the BBC. ETA - Sky. Sports says that the deal is "99% done". So Everton need new manager yet again. Nuno Espirito Santo and Antonio Conte will be among the favourites. Michael W
Wonder who is next to spend a fortune and still finish 8th?

Can't see Arsenal spending much unless they can get some decent money for Arteta's rejects. Bellerin, Soares, Kolasinac, Mavropanos, Guendouzi, Torreira, Maitland-Niles and Willock have been frozen out. Everton finished 10th even with Ancelotti in charge. Whoever takes over needs to strengthen the squad, both quality and numbers. There were two goalies on the bench most of the season because they struggled to fill it at times.

So Everton will have money available to recruit a decent replacement. The bookies make Nuno Espirito Santo the favourite. I'd go for Moyes or Benitez who still lives on the Wirral. -
Guest TheJTS98
Damning verdict on VAR from the fans. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jun/02/var-given-thumbs-down-by-fans-for-premier-league-study We're at the point now where it's hard to see where the justification for VAR existing comes from. Players and coaches complain about it. Fans hate it. Why is it there?
eez-eh
It boils my piss when I hear about rules being changed to make VAR decisions less controversial. Just get VAR in the bin instead.
staggy1929
Conte to Spurs is a goer apparently. If he and Mourinho both can't get a trophy out of them then there's no point in them even trying tbh.

Why is it there?Lets not forget thought that player coaches and fans of EPL clubs played a huge role in forcing this in the first place with constant "football is too big to have mistakes" bollocks. Of course its fine to change your mind, but we cant have EPL fans or clubs making out like this was foisted on them agaisnt their will.
