accies1874
There's absolutely no pace in that team no matter what formation we play. Not convinced by the front pairing together either, both a bit too similar.Don't need pace when you're pumping the ball up to two big strikers all game my man! Brian Rice has taught Steve Clark well, it seems.

HuttonDressedAsLahm
5-3-2 Jack, McGinn, McGregor across their middle. That puts a huge amount of responsibility onto Robertson and O’Donnell to provide the width. Can’t even remember the last time we played two up front. Lithuania 2007? He must feel short on alternatives, or thinks the back four can be got at with crosses?
G51
Weird to see a twin target man system here. McBurnie likes to flick the ball on for runners, Dykes likes to keep it and roll it off to midfielders who push into the attack. But the only player we have in midfield who will run on beyond the strikers is McGinn. It's placing a huge burden on his shoulders.

Coooombe
Given we're not playing any wingers, I think 5-3-2 is nailed on. We really need a performance from Robertson tonight as I've no idea where else the creativity is going to come from.
accies1874
Yer da must feel conflicted that Scotland finally listened to him and started playing two strikers but one of them is that McBurnie who is the worst footballer he's ever seen.
RandomGuy.
Aye definitely 5-3-2. Not good.
ArabFC
Just sack the fcuker! How fucking difficult is it to play guys in the positions they play week-in week-out?! Praying it's diamond formation rather than 3 at the back. Edited October 8, 2020 by ArabFC
naegoodinthedark
Aside from the fact that McBurnie is shite, and Jack is a c**t, I’m not too unhappy with that given the circumstances. I’m absolutely buzzing for this ffs.

That lost 3-0 to an Israeli side last month. A real statement of intent. Hopefully Gallagher can bloody behave himself tonight.
