Jansen came, was given shit by the press and some pundits, was proven wrong, the upshot is that people who do this sort of shit should do their research beforehand. As you rightfully pointed out Jansen had a profile and experience yet that didn't stop those commentators just opening their mouths.

Nothing is "ridiculous" about that.

The fact you have somehow taken what I've written as some sort of personal attack on you is well wide of the mark.

Wasn't there constant fall outs between Brown, Hay, Jansen and McLeod?

Maybe you've missed my point, the Scottish league is a decent level and in a good place, going into next season there are only 8 leagues that have performed better in Europe over the last 5 years.
So McGregor going to play at a higher level is limited to only 8 leagues across Europe.

Is it ?

Our co-efficient is increasing due to TWO teams , neither of which is known for being full of Scottish players

Hearing that this Ozzy lad has asked celtic for time to mull it over.

Two or three months roughly.

That'll get them all paranoid again.

By that argument, then McGregor is playing at an even higher level than our league co efficent -🙄

Same time same era, Paul McStay was still playing for Celtic the same time Lambert left Motherwell for Dortmund.

Why dismiss McStay but not Lambert.

I didn't dismiss McStay I've got no problem with him being a one man club it's more rare these days for players to do that if they have the talent to play at a higher level.
The Bosman ruling changed that for players going forward.

Andy Robertson.

He had to progress through the levels and was playing in the Scottish Premiership regularly before he got a move to Hull, and also spent a season in the English Championship with Hull.

Yip he made that jump to the EPL.
Did you post that thinking I didn't know that?

Today we have Ryan McGowan, Dylan McGowan, Jackson Irvine and Craig Moore telling everyone what a top notch coach Ange Postecoglou is. Celtic fans, you’re going to be ok.

Crikey, all the blokes and sheilas think Celtic are a dogs breakfast,  blimey Ange sounds like a ripsnorter BONZA M8.

Think the English media did exactly the same to wenger when he arrived at arsenal.

Wenger had a French title and a Champions League semi final on his CV before he joined Arsenal.

This guy is not Arsene Wenger.

Some of the letters of his name are the same, though.

I don’t think he was making a comparison to managerial abilities

he was making a comparison between the media’s reaction to Foreign managers coming in

The wee man is touching on McGregor's ambition I'm just pointing out it's not a bad decision to stay in Scotland.
When you look at the Scottish national squad we don't have many from the English Championship.

I’m not touching on his ambition mate - I’m saying he doesn’t have the required ability.
