Pyramidic
Glad that the boundary issue has been sorted out so quickly. Applause for both the WOSFL and EOSFL officials. I suspect the decision has left the officials of Harthill, Armadale and Fauldhouse in something of a quandary this evening. Hopefully common sense will prevail and West Lothian can return to its former football glories in an enriched football setting in the EOSFL.

Clubs in Stirling, Falkirk and West Lothian Council areas who wish to join the pyramid will be directed to apply to the EoSFL while clubs in North and South Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire will be directed to apply to the WoSFL. These local authority boundaries will not affect any club already in membership of either League. Once a Club is admitted to a League, any application to switch Leagues will not be entertained except with the prior approval of both Leagues. Refreshing the Whitburn Facebook page every 30 seconds to see what tear stained missive or massive reverse ferret they come out with. Oh no, looks like being staunch wasn't enough to see them into the West. Well the time has come for Whitburn to move to the senior leagues and away from the junior leagues that I have loved for many years . Sad times are upon us. I feel that the fantastic junior devisions have been let down by teams with delusions of grandeur who have destroyed what we have loved for decades. Time to move though and I strongly believe Whitburn as a town has a strong history in east league football but more of an affinity with the west of Scotland . My preference would be to move away from the east football who have destroyed what I have loved and play in the west. The travelling would be easier and the support would be better catered for . Let’s go the Burnie.

Looks like there is no flexibility for Harthill Royal as they are unambiguosly in West Lothian where the ground is concerned and there are no caveats inserted on the county boundary. Think it's really Kello Rovers that are being covered by the no effect on existing members wording even though it is not these county boundaries that would affect them, just to get the idea of being grandfathered in established if a similar agreement is made with the SoS in future. 6 minutes ago, pollokfan1987 said: they be pissed off now they have to apply to the EOSL now Think the word was that Whitburn already had to hedge their bets? Well done to both boards on a sensible decision which give clarity to any clubs wanting to join either set up.

Now we need to see something similar clarifying Tayside. Suspect that's a lot more problematic, unfortunately. East of Scotland FA confirmed on twitter that clubs applying from north of the Tay boundary line would be directed to the Highland League or a feeder to it.

Glad that the league administrative boundaries are being sorted out providing both clarity and certainty fo the affected clubs. This just leaves the respective boundaries between the WOSFL / SOSFL and EOSFL / SOSFL to be verified. Where for example do Newton Stewart stand if they apply to the WOSFL for that last remaining place in the Conference C? Unlike other applicants they would be a Tier 6 club from the SOSFL.

I think by the statement you can assume it's going to be the same as they arent allowing teams to shift leagues unless both associations agree. So unless kello wanted to shift to sosfl which I dont think they will the sosfl will be where they stay

LongTimeLurker
Nothing fixed yet on Tayside boundary so premature to assume anything other than a guiding principle on Kello where the SoS boundary is concerned:
