Celtic v super saints 30/01/21

Lennon and Duffy still in place so it’s the best chance we’ll ever have of coming away from the east end with something.

If we can keep the same side and set up from tannadice with Connolly coming on to the stretch the defence late on then hopefully it won’t be the usual one way traffic.

Reality says we go park the bus 🙁

Try and play football against them at Parkhead and you'll get humped. Bus park and counter attack.

A giant who cares from me as a Celtic fan. The weather will be shite, the pitch will be shite, the game will be shite. A win means nothing, a draw isn't even a disappointment, a defeat won't get Lennon sacked, even if it's worse than Mowbray at Love Street. 2 Celtic goals, a lot of side ways passing in the St Mirren half, a minimum of 5 Ryan Christie misses from 30 yards out, at least 2 defensive calamities.

Stop trying to manufacture a rivalry, your not relevant enough for us to care.

A shit here we go again.....!!

Another victory here and Lennon will claim we are back to our very best.

As long as St Mirren's management and players haven't watched every other team scud us by lumping balls into the box we should be fine.

1 nil us (maybe)

Gus MacPherson was our manager the last time we avoided defeat at Parkhead, more than 13 years ago.
This is probably the most confident I’ve been going there since then.
It’s clearly a very poor Celtic side, as bad as they’ve been since the 90’s, and this is the best Saints team for a long time.
Usually go into these fixtures just hoping the goal difference doesn’t take that much of a doing. Now you can’t help but think, just maybe...a wee draw. Probably not though.
4-1
