I've just gone for the games that, if you gave me a week alone with only games I've played before, I'd be likely to play again. Pong was influential, but I think I'd take up self-harm rather than play that again.

I still have hope that Horace and the Spiders will win out overall.

From playing through ES IV and V again in the last couple of months, Oblivion still dumps on Skyrim in many ways. My favourite ES game.

I thought this up until very recently, but I've been playing some modded Skyrim recently and... I dunno.

Base games, then yeah Oblivion is better. But there are some truly great Skyrim mods out there. Legacy of the Dragonborn in particular.

I loved that wee game.

I thought it would be a load of pish then within a couple of hours it was my favourite game, me and my mates would be arguing in school who had the better garden ffs 😂

I never managed to get the dragon which still rankles with my now.

Reading the last couple of pages, this thread has real meltdown potential.

Who'd have thought grown men playing computer games could be so opinionated?

Welcome to the internet. Where have you been?

If you're going to try and claim the spectrum was better than the C64 then, well, I just cant take you seriously anymore

Ah, I see the problem...

I've been meaning to get some kind of Speccy tattoo for a good quarter of a century now, so I may not be entirely impartial on this issue. Clive Sinclair is a living God.

Make sure you only use two colours in your tattoo

Eight beautiful, vibrant colours.

If I live long enough, they might wash out to pastels and look like it's a C64 tribute.
