Marten
On Wednesday is the first fixture, and probably not the last, that has been moved to a different ground just to get it played. Kirrie Thistle v Downfield will be played at Thomson Park as Kirrie doesn't have lights suitable for a game.

Ginaro
A Broughty win on Wednesday with Lochee United failing to win means the latter is out of the running. North End not winning means they will almost certainly be out of contention. Broughty not winning v Tayport while winning their final game, means Lochee winning all four would give them the title (but not easy games v North End, Carnoustie, Downfield)
Lichtie78
Went to watch North End Vs Lochee tonight, North End were as brilliant as Lochee were poor. Familiar story from when I’ve seen the Chee previously, no real game plan or cohesion. Long ball to Linn and Hay was bread and butter for North End centre halves. Goal of the match Frankie Devine’s incredible strike for the second.
Ginaro
Well that's that then, Dundee North End winning every game the only thing that can stop Broughty.
RossBFaeDundee
Oh, Lochee are DONE done. Given that result, who says North End can't go and do it? Knew they'd be up there but jeezy peeps.

Cosmic Joe
It would be incredible if North End can pull this off. As far as I can ascertain, Saturday's game away to Kirrie is the biggest challenge..

Basically all of the players who were involved in their great season a few years back have been pinched by other teams.
Marten
Well, I didn't have many hopes for the league title and it's definitely over. Odd with us that when we do lose, it's with a big margin. We had only 4 defeats in all competitions all season (Broughty/North End in the league, Broxburn in the Scottish Cup & Darvel in the Junior Cup) and conceded 14 goals in those 4 games while not scoring any. The consistency is what has to improve for next season. However, the club is still working hard on improving both on and off the pitch and I'm pleased with what I'm seeing. The new, young, players that joined us during this season will all be there next season. We keep building and hopefully come back stronger next season. But the season isn't over yet, there is still a cup to win (hopefully). Semi-final against Buchanhaven Hearts next weekend, all focus can be on that one now.

welshbairn
7 more wins for Dundee North End and the Championship will be theirs, hopefully announced at halftime during Germany v Scotland!
ExiledLichtie
Shame to see Lochee end their season with such a whimper. 148 goals, 28 wins, only 3 defeats, and they might still somehow only finish third. A real shame to see the one licensed team losing out like that.

Tayport are licenced, maybe a couple more during the summer, dunno??

The licensing process has been closed to new applications most of the season, with it expected to be opened up again following the SFA AGM. While there might be a small number in the process that become members (nothing's been heard publicly). None would be expected to come from the Midlands.
