They took Hedges out for the whole season, and looks like they've done the same to Lewis today. First half aside, Aberdeen were the better side and we deserved to go through. Get Livi to f**k.
Jacksgranda
From the BBC: "A marathon Scottish Cup tie is over and it's Aberdeen who progress to the last eight, making it a good debut for manager Stephen Glass A home time with Dundee United awaits." Sounds good.

Pre-Deek - Dunfermline, Queen's Park, possibly Raith Rovers (?), then going back a bit Hibs knocked us out of cups on penalties. In the Hibs match we had Michael Watt in goals and they had Jimmer - only one way that was going TBH. ETA The Dons of course hold the dubious distinction of being the first team to be knocked out of a European competition on penalties - by Honved in the ECWC in 1970. The collision with Lewis was a freak accident that doesn't happen if the Aberdeen player doesnt stumble into Guthrie. You can blame your own defender for that one.

Can't be bothered going back to check but I'm pretty certain they put Brian Welsh on in the last minute to take a pen. I think he almost took the pegs out of the ground.
Scrutinizer
A bit unlucky overall, Pittman, Holt, Bartley, Fizzywater were all a bit of a disappointment Stryjek 8/10 Safe at crosses, good overall game Devlin 6/10 Steady enough, some good runs. Fizzywater 3/10 Unstable at the back, just doesn't look solid enough Guthrie 6/10 Caught out few times, Fizzywater not a good defensive match. Longridge 6/10 Plenty running and effort Bartley 3/10 Constantly fouling, cumbersome on the ball, not much use to the defence in this game. Holt 4/10 Can't fault his energy, passing always over hit, too much fouling, lost ball twice first half that nearly caused goals Jet 9/10 This guy has got great ball control, touch, passing, amazed at his energy, and enthusiasm .. Pittman 3/10 Set up first goal, then had no impact, very poor Sibbald 8/10 Very good, plenty running, enthusiasm spot on, fitness levels getting better game by game. Forrest 8/10 Impressive display, always running . Lithgow Looked a bit slow Poplatnik Not much impact McMillan Looked good Taylor Sinclair Never noticed much of him
coprolite
That was as close as it gets. I'd only give Considine and McGinn pass marks put of the starting 11. 2 Craig Brown signings repurpose for hitting on the counter, i like where this goes.

Guest Bob Mahelp
It's worrying that we spend the first half of every single game looking like 11 players that have never met each other before. We need to be pro-active, not forever re-active. Get a fucking grip of the game from the first minute, not the 60th minute.

ATLIS
Holt should never go near a Livi top again, absolute shite every week. Devlin is getting close to it. Fitzwater having one of nightmare games again today too. JET putting in his performance of the season for us Edited April 17, 2021 by ATLIS
thruthenight
Stryjek had a great game, and then looked awful during the shootout. JET's best game in a Livi shirt. Holt fucked up his penalty, but had a decent game other than that. Shame, away to Aberdeen for Glass' first game was always gonna be rough. Happy with the performance, shame about the result. The naivety for the first equaliser was something. Decent game, good luck to Aberdeen, hope they win the whole thing.
