Dundee FC vs Kilmarnock FC & Kilmarnock FC vs Dundee FC

Recommended Posts

I can't believe there's people that watched that game tonight that think Killie will stay up.  If not for that lucky break of the ball they'd being as well not even turning up on Monday.

Tie over, we're up.

Stephen O'Donnell (the former Killie one of course, not the genuinely talented ex-Dee) just got asked, 'Did Dundee deserve the win?' and replied, 'Yeah, Kilmarnock will go down the road the happier side.'

Fucking hell.

He was blaming Killie's current position on Alessio on Sportsound pre-match. Get him out of the Scotland squad IMO.

Imagining TW and the Killie squad with smiles on their pusses thinking "Wow, we didn't get hammered! Happy about that" while sat on the bus heading home.

BUT I noticed St Johnstone only score nine home goals all season!!

And 27 away. @craigkillie pointed out that it's the lowest goals scored at home by a team in any division in the history of Scottish football I think.  In potentially our greatest ever season.  Funny old game.

Enjoyed that tonight. Games like that are the very essence of Scottish football. I know the media like to make it all about the big two, but in truth few of us give a f**k which one wins the league.  However, a play-off between two desperate sides kicking lumps out of one another in the pishing rain with every "f**k you" shout as clear as day is really what it's all about.  While the rest of us watch on eagerly ready to tear apart the hapless losers...

As dross as Kilmarnock were, Dundee have a bit of a glass jaw towards the end of games as last night proved. Also, Adam killed Rovers single handedly in the first leg but faded out of it in the second. If he does the same on Monday you’re in trouble.  Hope you do it though.

The 'glass jaw' is a manager that doesnt know how to close a game out tactically. He continually sets up the last 15 minutes of the game with no real shape even when we are the better team.

If you want to talk about arrogance @RandomGuy. compare these two interviews:

I can't be arsed, but yeah, TW has always been arrogant but feels like something you ignore when he manages your club.

It's definitely gone up a notch since his time out the game though. Getting rejected by NI, County and Motherwell, plus watching us improve without him, seems to have changed him.

Dundee should be further ahead. Ironically Doyle kept Killie in it, without his great saves it could have been 4 easily.

Killie will be delighted to be 1 down after such a shit performance. Doubt they will be as bad on Monday and will have a chance.
