Lex
St Mirren Dunfermline Partick Thistle Stenhousemuir Dumbarton Fixtures tbc, fairly tough group that. Expect the Pars and Jags to be top half Championship next year. Dumbarton will likely take points off at least one of the full time sides, don’t know much about Stenny. Would be some good away days, if we are allowed to go. Edited July 2, 2021 by Lex
Coventry Saint
I look forward to strongly tipping Dunfermline for promotion after they run rings round us, only to be mildly surprised as they finish fifth in next year's Championship.
Ric
It would be nice for the group games to improve momentum which is then replicated in the league, rather than ending up shattering confidence by struggling to get a penalty shoot out against a part time club from a few divisions lower - as seems to have been the case recently with this competition. I mean, sure, we qualified last season, but only just.

Salvo Montalbano
Remember that game at New Love Street or whatever it's called and thinking that we looked pretty decent and that Gabby McGill looked a decent prospect. Oops. -

Oops. I thought Coley was going to absolutely destroy the championship. He was pure class. He didn't get anywhere near to that performance level ever again.
Lex
Fixtures confirmed. Like how us and Thistle play our last game a day later than the Pars and Stenny due to tv. Will know what is required.

Think we’re going to be out this before we get started tbh.

When we were 2nd seeds we were away to top seeds Hamilton, Partick and Kilmarnock (where are they now?) and when we've been top seeds we've been at home to 2nd seeds Dunfermline and Morton.
The Moonster
Looks like we'll be charging £12 for all matches apart from the St Mirren one which has been deemed a Category A game, and will therefore be £14.
DiegoDiego
What are the chances of away fans for these games? In particular the Stenny one. Would I have to masquerade as a home fan?

I can't see there being a ruling against away fans seeing as they are allowed at the friendlies but the home team may wish to use 100% of their crowd for their own fans.

Fuctifano
If there was a novelty to the group stages of this it's long since worn off. Feels like this weekend should be an away friendly to a Conference North or Highland league team. Probably made worse for Thistle and Dunfermline fans by the fact that we play in the league very early on as well.

Do those chumps ever stop complaining? What was it Div tweeted that Dumbarton fans claimed tarnished their clubs reputation? I forget now but it was hilarious at the time. -
